I didn't get the chance to watch this movie in the theatre...bought it as soon as it came out. Havent't watched it yet, cause, I hate watching movies alone...and, well I am alone damnit!

Hah, funny. I just finished watching this movie about 5 minutes ago. I thought it was pretty decent...

As far as the cheetahs go, I think Hidalgo trampled one and it looked like the second one ran after the horse guy that was helping pull Hidalgo out of the pit. Atleast, that's what I thought was going on.

Loved the movie. But im bias, i just love horses in general. In reference to the Ocean of Fire, I was impressed how accurate they were, although there was a few discrepancies.

I loved it. But being one of those people, who as soon as they see a 'true story movie' goes to research it found the camp on Hidalgo 50/50. there are sites that say it's as true as can be found based on the age of the story, and others say he was a lying bastard.

I vote for true. Cuz, I love the story and like to have faith in things.
