I heard bonespear was amazing for sorcerers. I have been hunting there for a little while now and while killing things is not a problem, getting bit by those damn waerns is starting to really get annoying. Usually after 2 hunts I have hands mangled to the point where I cant cast, have to sign of darkness back to solhaven and run to the landing to get healed. This is a pretty big time killer. Another sorc told me I should blow their leg off, but the problem is my spell aiming isnt a full 2x yet. I could focus the next level on bringing it up to 2x if it were really worth it. It seems like bonespear might be best for sorcs with 2x spell aiming. Focused implosion and limbing stuff seems necessary here.
Any tips? I am carrying herbs, but I run out and as a weak caster I cant carry much without getting too encumbered to make the climb.

I hunted Bonespear for quite a long time. If you don't want to carry the herbs with you, you could bring large-ish bundles and put them in the safe room there. That way you can heal up and regain mana without leaving. You could also put them in a separate container and phase it to reduce encumbrance. You could also avoid the waerns and simply focus on eidolons.

OK thanks. I have this fancy herb bundling kit, max l/d that I bought awhile back. I'm using that, I suppose I should bite the bullet and get a full set of herbs for all hand related injuries. Was thinking about making a script to buy a shitload of them.

BTW, for others reading this. Another sorc suggested pain (711) to reduce HP and induce 3-7 seconds of RT. THen finish them off with MD or whatever. I will try this next. Also suggested trying to just stun them. These options dont require more SA.

That also works, assuming you have enough necro lore training. When I was hunting Bonespear, I didn't have any necro lore training (and my sorcerer's in Voln) so I was already having mana issues. Using 711 wasn't an option for me.

True, I am demo. Hmmmm...could try just stunning them with 706, a bit cheaper and doesnt get penalized for lower SA training.

Weeell, I'll first chime in with a LOL@YOU for not having the spell aiming skillz, but 706 does work on the waerns (and probably dybbuks, too, not that they're anything but overgrown rats). 711 is also a good option; hit'em once or twice and finish with 702. They stun fairly easily.
