I quit my job today. I think that quitting your job is one of the most liberating feelings you can experience. I still have to write my letter of resignation. I'm thinking of this:
"Dear Boss,
j00 r teh sux0r. I quit.
sincerely, teh rox0r"

HN, if only I could enjoy my time off. Alas, I start my new job tomorrow morning. Growing up my mother always told me never quit a job until you have a better one, and I've found that to be the best advice to date.
As for burning bridges, I gave notice so therefore I am not leaving on bad terms. It's sad cause I really enjoyed my job until this bitch started working here, and one by one the entire staff is leaving. I'm the second to go and two more are already going on interviews elsewhere.

Ew. Didn't even give yourself a little vacation? That's self-torture, Blazing! :(
Still, I understand what you mean, and your mom was right. It's a lot easier to get a new job when you're already working. Hope the new work is more to your liking. :)
HarmNone wishes you the best
