Alright, as an experiment to see if opinions have changed amongst our little sample group I'm starting up a new poll.

The old poll is here (http://forum.gsplayers.com/viewthread.php?tid=7797).

Results:

Bush
25 (36.23%)

Kerry
31 (44.93%)

Nader
4 (5.8%)

Other
0 (0%)

Undecided
9 (13.04%)

Its pretty obvious that there are some strong supporters from both parties. Have the undecideds made up their minds yet? Anyone switch? Discuss.

Bush doesn't have a chance.

I was just dragged to Farenheit 9/11 :help:, and as much as I hate to admit it, propaganda has its way with my feeble mind.
I am really starting to loathe politics in general, so, undecided :?:

Almost every imcumbent has a chance. Bush's approval rating is around 50% which has been climbing for about a month.

Obviously I haven't changed opinions and I think the election is a toss up as of now.

I hope it's Kerry. I just don't like Bush... But I'm a liberal, so meh. What a surprise.

Whats great about this PC poll is that the sampling covers many age groups, many races, and... yep, you guessed it, many countries.

We may be game-playing internet-savvy computer-wizard/geek sociopaths... but we have a voice too! And a place to post it.

Thank you, Canada.

That site consists of polls which are totally useless.

That aside, it's still a cool one. Look how close a lot of them are. I can't believe CA has that little support for Kerry. I thought he was up in CA the way Bush is in Texas. On the other hand FL, PA, Michigan, Ohio, etc, I knew those were close.

This from the “Pollmiester”? LOL.

Keep telling yourself “it’s close”. You might even fool yourself.

<<This from the “Pollmiester”? LOL.>>

It was obvious (or so I thought) sarcasm, Backlash.

<<Keep telling yourself “it’s close”. You might even fool yourself.>>

It's not close? Do you have some sort of evidence that political pundits from every TV news agency and party don't? They seem to be talking about how it is such a dead heat. Might want to give em a call and update them with the Backlash inside scoop.

Anyway... If Bush loses, I'll stop caring around November sixth, give or take a day or two.

If Bush wins, I'll go to Church to pray for you. I fear what you'll do to yourself after the 'brainwashed' country elects him in for another four years.

I'll burn down your church, with you in it.

PS, freaks like you get pussy cancer and die.

If Bush wins, don't pray for me... pray for our future.

Poor Nader. (http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story.jsp?flok=FF-APO-1131&idq=/ff/story/0001%2F20040821%2F0943367782.htm&sc=1131&photoid=2 0040227WX101)

Did I ever mention the time I was in HMV and saw him get busted for sneaking CDs out?

Please stop double spacing. Yes, I do have an inside scoop. Not like its anything really secret or anything. Bush will lose. Bush's are one termers.

Ok, maybe its not your fault. But every time I get a word file from a PC user (Microsoft) it plays hell with layout.

I copied your post and found some double spaces, Hulk. Don’t mind me, just bitching.

The total count from the first poll was 69. Huh, hu hu, hu...

This one is up to 39 as of the time stamp.

I just wish there was somebody to vote for besides the three guys listed. I'll cast my lot with Kerry, though. Voting for Nader, while a nice statement, does nothing but split the vote for Kerry, and if he doesn't win we're going to have Bush for another four years.

My husband calls me a member of the ABB (Anybody But Bush) party. That pretty much sums up my feelings.

Another reason to vote Democratic: Alan Keyes. The guy the Republican party chose to 'carpet bag' in Illinois.

Keyes called the separation of church and state "silly," saying that politicians must infuse their decisions with religious beliefs for the nation to remain intact.

"We must reject the notion of separation of church and state because that separation will mean the destruction of our nation." the two-time Republican presidential candidate said.

Until the religious right stops controlling the Republican party, I doubt I'll ever vote for one again. It's reached an all time high.

Looks like, at least amongst the PC lot, that some opinions have changed over the past month. But we are around 10 votes short of the last poll.
