Im a warrior with no air lore or any such skill at manipulating magic. The weapon flares just like normal flares, every so often and keeps me hasted for roughly 15 seconds. It's current enchant is 6x or +30.

I believe it is just like another item that sold during the same festival that worked with Paladins flares on top of the haste ability.
It is a OHB and a light weapon so it would make a good offhand weapon with another blunt .

(Like a gem eating morning star that flares on every hit?)

yep, think your right here. I did buy this from the festival and never fully tested it until today. Indeed I just confirmed that it's actually a 6x weapon with a full +30 and the time for the haste probably is about 15 seconds .

I could use a willing bard to sing to this I will edit my post to reflect the items actual abilities.

4 sec rt guess and with the proc i guess it would be pretty decent to TWC blunts along side a morningstar or something.

if it works with blink it would be awesome. but since the haste flare is not taking up the flare spot and blink doesn't take flare spot not sure if the weapon would play nice with both haste & blink
