Her training looks to be a little borked and its been about 9 years since I played her, so am after some sagely advice. Couldn't find any, so figured I would ask you lot instead.

Perception - 2x

Actually, I was playing for about a month prior to your return. I leveled a wizard up to 19, a bard to 18 and a rogue to 15 so far. I tried to buy Snowy when I first came back, but someone had bought her a few weeks before I returned, and didnt want to sell. Luckily, she now does because (although the owner at the time was very nice) she was unable to cope with the awesomeness that is my Snowy. She had, however, let her dress sense go to shit. Well, her and the two people before her. Probably the two people before her BUCKWHEAT AND KITSUN IM LOOKING AT YOU! because they was boys.


PS - is Snowy a ranger or rogue?

With Briar's guidance this is what I ended up going with. The only wish I guess is that I had kept SMC higher because I make a ton of rods and with these 30 ranks I end up making wands far to often for my tastes.

This gave me, with a normal wizard spell up, a 600 offensive defense with a 7x bow/5x armor without a statue rub. It gave me a 493 ranged attack and my plan is to get just minimal enhancives to get over 500. Since I am in OTF, I like 100% round time adder for breeze especially when Sabreon is in there and its swarming like mad. Spike is pretty strong with this and I have a 475CS without any adders. So my goal is 500CS/500AS(ranged), and for training its SMC to where I make rods better,finish 2x PT, 2x HP, and then increase MIU/AS to assist with burst.

Why all the armor use? What armor are you wearing? I thought it was 35ish ranks for Brig to lose all the movement issues.

Brig's normal hindrance is trained off at 35 ranks for MnS (the highest number for Rangers per armor chart) 27 for RT
Brig normally has an action penalty of -12, which is at the 27 ranks. Overtraining in Armor use will further reduce this action penalty. -10 at 77 ranks, and -8 at 127.

What does action penalty do?
Armor hindrance is a factor of armor penalty (2 armor penalty = 1% armor hindrance). Most notably, this is used in the Evade DS equation.

So, going from 27 to 127 ranks in Armor use gives you 2% more DS from evade... It'd basically as though you were wearing Cuirboulli in terms of action penalties.

Buck is well past cap with that training BTW,
Capped Spells, Ranged, Dodge, Ambush, Perception, Lore (I think)... It's not a bad alternative to PF at that tier... depending on TP cost, considering that he's already a full 2x Dodge.

So my setup is sort of strange. I always have rank five armor fluidity running so wearing chain hauberk(110 ranks) is very viable in areas with few manuvers(OTF) for me. If I am in a warcamp however, I still run fluidity but because of the CM attacks there I can drop down to lesser armors and take advantage of the lower spell hinderance and the over training for reduced action penalty.

I mostly run in hauberk.

PS. That is capped summon lore.
