I am level 6 with 7 ranks in Transformation. I would have thought my armor would be double leather ( 6 + 1 + 1 ) but I must be missing something.

AvD of 45 is what the website says should be against AsG 5?

Be sure to STOP 1202 and then recast it when you reach a new level/lore asg. You're most likely still seeing the old asg from your existing duration of 1202 with the old asg if you just added a bit more. Also, don't bother going over 5 ranks of Transformation Lore and spend the tp's elsewhere until much later.

Iron skin is base full leather. There are bonus from transformation more and level (monk only). There is a very good article on krakiipedia.org.

Maybe im wrong but I waz under the impression that AvDs/CvA do not change with 1202. This was a complaint on the officials. That being said, your AvD against a flail matches that of light leather. Are you wearing light leathers on your character? 1202 only works if you wear cloth armor or nothing.

The spell's base AsG is 6 (full leather). However, if you are wearing armor, Iron Skin will not activate. The attack AvD indicates that you are wearing light leathers. If so, remove the armor and don robes, preferably enchanted for better CvA. At lvl 6, with 5 to 14 lore ranks, you will then have double leather AvDs, leather AG damage factors and the leather critical divisor for all body locations. And, as Kalrasen noted, cloth or robe CvAs.
