I rather love making siegery minis and feel that there are a lot of folks who aren't familiar with siegery or what one can get if they get the chance to customize one. Figured I'd inquire if anyone wanted to post some nice minis they might have. I'll post mine when I can find someone to battle!
Someone told me earlier today I should post all my minis. I told her I had, but then realized I had just put down 1-2. Here is a list of what I've got and what they do. Excluding death messaging, because I didn't want to sit around killing them all.
a sleek eahnor airship miniature: Crafted down to the smallest detail this miniature is a perfect replica of an airship. Minute ornate detailing lines the bow and aft made from gleaming bronze. The hull of the ship is the brilliant crimson of eahnor. Lining the deck of the airship are her crew, five tiny males and one female. Emblazoned across the aft is the name "The Falcon."
Attack, Miss: Turning the airship around, it dives in close, swinging past the a sunken Ashrim battleship miniature just long enough to allow the crew to cheer, jeer, and hurl refuse at the a sunken Ashrim battleship miniature.
Attack, Hit: Laughing and carousing, the crew fly the airship in close. Rushing to the side they fire a barrage of arrows over the side at a sunken Ashrim battleship miniature before circling around and away once more.
a sunken Ashrim battleship miniature: Crafted into a minute replica of an old Ashrim battleship, the ship has seen better days. There are tiny cracks in the hull, rents in the sails, and the ship has traces of barnacles across it, as though it lay in the water for ages. The only pristine part is the wavecrest-adorned Ashrim flag. Along her deck are the barnacle-covered skeletons of a crew and six skeletons in the elaborate robes of mages. Barely discernible, the words "Charl's Mercy" are written across the bow.
Attack, Miss: The skeletons aboard the battleship miniature begin to move, going about their jobs. The six robed skeletons gather at the prow of the ship cursing and wailing.
Attack, Hit: The robed skeletons gather in a circle on the bow of the battleship miniature chanting. With a final shout of, "Revenge!" they raise their hands and a small storm cloud manifests. Crackling with lightning it strikes a sunken Ashrim battleship miniature with a single large bolt.
a raving lunatic miniature: Carved from a small block of ebonwood into the visage of a typical dark-skinned Faendryl, the miniature is notable in that he is wearing a white jacket with his arms tied around behind him, confining him. His eyes are carved wide open and a rictus grin is set onto his face. Printed across the front of the oddly made jacket are the words, "The Elizhabet Mahkra Faendryl Asylum for the Thaumaturgically Unsettled."
Attack, Miss: Cackling madly, a raving lunatic miniature rushes forward. He stuggles a bit with his jacket, but is unable to escape its bonds. With a sigh, he steps back.
Attack, Hit: Laughing maniacally, the raving lunatic miniature rushes forward. Ripping his arms free of his jacket, he grabs the Faendryl groom miniature and bites it!
(Gwen made me this one, she has a sylvan bride to match) a handsome Faendryl groom miniature: Carved from a block of ebonwood into the countenance of a Faendryl dark elf, the miniature has been set with absinthe green gemstone eyes and autumnal red hair streaked with copper and bronze. He looks quite dashing in his formal bourde outfit but, oddly enough, you note a tiny ball and chain around one leg.
Attack, Miss: Preening and striking a rather dashing pose, the Faendryl groom miniature blows a sultry kiss in the direction of the raving lunatic miniature.
Attack, Hit: Frustrated with the ball and chain bound to his ankle, the Faendryl groom miniature flails his limbs violently in an effort to free himself. The ball whips around his ankle and strikes a raving lunatic miniature square in the shin.
a drunken bard miniature: Carved from a block of ebonwood into the countenance of a Faendryl dark elf, this bard might have once had a dashing air about him. His eyes are lacquered to produce a particularly glazed look to them and his clothing has been sloppily adorned. From the odor wafting from the miniature, it has likely been soaked in alcohol for a prolonged period of time. Clenched in his hand is a tiny ale mug, now empty.
Attack, Miss: Stumbling forward, the bard mutters something about "Singing Sam" before falling down. Slowly standing up once again, he tries to drink from his empty mug, muttering some more.
Attack, Hit: Stumbling forward, the bard blurts "Pink rolton!?" as he noticed the empty mug. Hefting the mug into the air he manages to smack a Palestran guard miniature soundly with it.
(This one was a last minute, second one I ever got and I had nothing prepped beforehand, bought someone elses spot) a Palestran guard miniature: Crafted from fine metal, this Faendryl warrior wears a smirk on his face. Clad in crimson and black plate armor, he wields a gleaming longsword and greatshield. Emblazoned across the shield is a crest that bears a scarlet pentagram on a field of grey, with incarnadine shields and demons below.
Attack, Miss: Feinting right, the guard mutters an oath before leaping forward only to miss completely! Glowering, he steps back into a defensive posture.
Attack, Hit: Feinting left, the guard miniature mutters an oath before leaping forward and slashing his longsword across a drunken bard miniature.
(First one, I got it for winning the siegery contest a while back) a Faendryl summoner miniature: Crafted from ebonwood into a black-skinned white haired dark elf, the summoner's face has been carved with a minute smirk. Draped in long purple and black robes emblazoned with the seal of the Basilica across the back, the robes also have a tiny name tag on them that reads "Bob". Clutched in his hand is an ebonwood runestaff topped in a tiny red ruby.
Attack, Miss: Chanting an arcane phrase, the summoner miniature raises his hands and gestures wildly, but nothing happens! Stomping his foot, he pouts and turns away.
Attack, Hit: The summoner miniature chants an arcane phrase, a tiny purple sphere engulfing his hand while a small rift opens above a Madam Zannebah miniature! A miniature oculoth pops out of the rift, bites a Madam Zannebah miniature and then slips back into the portal before it closes.
Limited Edition:
(EG prize) a Madam Zannebah miniature: The miniature sorceress is clothed with multiple layers of rich purple fabric styled into voluminous robes. Most of her facial features are shadowed by the hood of her garment. The figure holds a tiny gem-capped stave in her hand and wears a finely detailed talisman around her neck.
Attack, Miss: The Madam Zannebah miniature flings her talisman on its chain in a wide arc of attack, but misses by a mile! Muttering, she replaces her talisman around her neck.
Attack, Hit: The Madam Zannebah miniature raises her hands to the skies while incanting intently towards the summoner miniature. Oozing pustules form on the surface of the summoner miniature. A tiny, but audible, high-pitched scream emits from the playing field.
(Walward limited release) an axe-wielding mayor miniature: Painted with dark clover green eyes and a shaven head of strawberry blonde hair, the mayor miniature has been carved to resemble a muscular warrior. The figure wears a tiny vaalorn-trimmed breastplate and clutches a sharp waraxe at his side. Pinned to the miniature's green cloak is the tiny emblem of Wehnimer's Landing and the name "Mayor Walkar" is carved into his foot.
Attack, Miss: The mayor miniature raises his tiny waraxe above his head and shouts, "For Wehnimer's!"
Attack, Hit: The mayor miniature spins into a berserker rage and unleashes a whirlwind of axe strikes on a diminutive gnome assassin miniature!
(Walward limited release) a diminutive gnome assassin miniature: Raggedly cut, frizzy black hair match the unshaven growth along the gnome's face. Dark, sea green eyes are barely visible beneath a pair of tiny viridian-lensed goggles. The gnome is tooled in a suit of dark grey armor and wears an assortment of gear-laden packs and belts. Small gear insignias mark the front of his steel-toed boots. The name "Jankus" has been carved into the miniature's foot.
Attack, Miss: The gnome assassin miniature fidgets with a few gears along his belt, a mischievous smile spreading across his face.
Attack, Hit: The gnome assassin miniature suddenly vanishes and seconds later a serrated rolaren handaxe comes hurling out of the shadows and strikes an axe-wielding mayor miniature! A moment later, the gnome assassin miniature reappears.
(Not limited, but it's the design I had that won the siegery contest, I am quite proud of it) a carved guild taskmaster miniature: Two tiny eyes from blue crystal chips contrast the tiny cobalt blue tunic and matching breeches on the carved figure. The majority of the miniature is left unpainted, the wood's natural tones giving the figure a deeply tanned look. His hair, primarily dark, has a few painted touches of grey on it. The name "Taskmaster Rhetegar" has been carved into the miniature's foot.
Attack, Miss: The taskmaster miniature crosses his arms and looks rather annoyed before blandly stating, "I'm kind of busy right now. Come back in fifteen minutes if you want to do battle."
Attack, Hit: The taskmaster miniature uncoils a whip from behind his back and lashes out at a red-eyed werebear miniature before shouting, "Child bounty! Good luck with that!"
