I just watched Dreamcatcher cause it was on HBO On Demand. Yeah, I wasted a good 2 hours of my life. It SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS. With Stephen King movies it's either hit big or miss big. This missed, big time.

I thought it was kind of weird, but good. The end part pissed me off because it was one of those where they go "whoops, time's up, we'd better wrap this up quick," and it's just a convenient finish. And the cheesy lines from the slow guy didn't help, either.

<<I just watched Dreamcatcher cause it was on HBO On Demand.>>

I did the same thing, except I fell asleep within 5 minutes.

Also, they need to put more than 2 episodes of Ali G on.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with bob here. This show is fucking hilarious. You can download the DVD on suprnova.org. Has like 7 episodes.

Okay, if they could communicate with eachother with their minds, why didn't the guys that got stranded when their truck flipped call out to the guys in the cabin to pick them up on the snowmobile?

Who stands there shooting at a helicopter while letting it mow them down with bullets?

Out of all the aliens that landed, why did only one go out to get people?

How did the first people get infected?

Why did Douglas take on the form of a retard if he was an alien? How did the powers he gave the 4 guys do anything for them to help them save the world?

I dunno, the movie made no sense to me. It was stupid, in my opinion.

Check again Bob. On Demand has about six Ali G episodes now. The wine tasting one is my favorite.

The FTP site was a resounding failure.

in response to blaze

1. because he stated they can only do it over a certain distance (he told army guy he could sense but not speak to his friend until they got closer)

2. heat of moment

3. There were more the army took them out they stated.

4. Aliens could infect with out worms, mr grey tried to with jonesy but he was immune.

5. Maybe he wasnt retarted but changing from alien to human wasnt as easy as you think!

I read the book then watched the movie. The movie did suck. I fell asleep in the middle of it and didn't care to go back and watch it again.

MOST of the movies made from S.K.'s books suck, with the exception of Shawshank Redemption...that movie was great! :socool:

This is true. For some reason, directors have an inability to successfully translate his great books into great movies. I really enjoyed reading Needful Things, I really hated watching the movie.
