Anyone have any advice for hunting warcamps with a sorc? I've tried warcamps a few times since ensorcell was released, but tend to get overwhelmed pretty quickly. My sorc is 76.

I'm post cap so my CS is high, but I run all the way north because of the shroud, 106 and 418 the area, and just evil eye squares and DC casters, imploding when needed or feel like it. Much faster than 111 or balefire. Ewave three or more critters, just watch for the shroud. I also have a ton of mana and burn through it pretty quick.

A strategy I used was to Limb disrupt all non-trolls so they couldn't attack, but don't kill them. Once the camp is done spawning new enemies, start killing them one at a time. This way you don't need to have 8+ things attacking you at once. Cast 418 on the location and work them down at your leisure.

This is exactly how I do it. I stay at the front of the camp with 707 active so if I need to bail I can and still make sure I'm not walking back into insta death from a cloud.

Troll camps are a bitch.

I've used the limb disrupt method very well in the warchest hut.

418, 106, open web.

Leg, arm, bloodburst as they come until there are 6-8 cowering non-trolls.

Open maelstrom, open implode.

Rinse (if preferred), Repeat.

(specifically good at younger trains as they spawn inside but don't walk in from outside so you don't get as swamped)

Does the shroud only cover a few rooms? I had no idea, I've very little experience in warcamps. This would drastically change how often I look for them.

x2704247 if you have a wizard stack a few casts of Rapid Fire on you.

Rapid Fire 908/111 in a troll warcamp will seem like your own personal invasion going on.

What does running all the way north do as far as the shroud is concerned?

being further away from the exit makes it harder to set off the shroud I think

Correct, the further away, the lower the percentage of the shroud activating.
