It was one of those movies that you go see just to find out how terrible it can actually be, like Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason, Chronicles of Riddick, etc. I thought it was actually rather amusing.

I have no intention of seeing this movie. It looks horrible. I did like Chroncles of Riddick thouugh. That may have something to do with me wanting to bone Vin Diesel, however.

AvP was better than I expected, I had expected it to be complete shit. It was definately better than the 3rd and 4th movies in the Alien series and that craptacular Predator 2.

I liked it a lot. To me it was in the caliber of movies like The Abyss and Reign of Fire. As good as the original Predator, or Alien? Nah, but pretty good in its own right.

Caught a matinee so it was definately worth the price plus not many people were there.

Anyone ever play the PC game? I always picked the alien and snapped the brains of my victims from the ceiling as they walked by. Ok, I cheated a little by sticking a small corner of paper to my screen to serve as a sight. Being a huge Descent fan, the rotating 3-D map was easier for me to navigate.

There are soooooo many things wrong with this movie that its mind boggling.

If you watched the Alien movies and Predator movies this movie takes things established in those movies and changed it to fit the story. For example.... The incubation period of the aliens. In the movies it took awhile. In this movie it takes minutes.

So many plot holes. And at the end it turns into Jurrasic Park. Aliens = Raptors, Queen Alien = T-Rex

It was alien vs predator, cool. No Danny Glover or Sygorney Weaver, very cool.

I went hoping to be entertained and I was not disappointed.

In conclusion, I feel alien would seriously kick Freddy&#039;s ass and wish I could wear a T-shirt in downtown antarctica :cow:

This movie was high comedy! The key is to go in expecting horrible plot and the best that a bunch of D actors and an unknown director can give you, plus some sweet fighting scenes between aliens and predators. I highly enjoyed it, but only because I went in knowing what I was in for. Remember, the key to keeping warm in the Antartic is wearing a light sweater!


Also, slightly on topic, did anyone ever play Alien Vs. Predator on the Atari Jaguar? One of my favorite games ever.

Played the PC version. Were you able to choose between Predator, Alien and Marine? I always went Alien. Walking on walls and ceilings is the bomb.

I been playing AvP2 for the PC a little bit. Single player is fun - especially with cheat codes. Haven&#039;t tried multiplayer yet, but I hear it&#039;s the best part of the game.
