Cannot open game client through lich...

Could like 10 minutes ago but now I click connect and the lich window closes as usual and then nothing... maybe it has something to do this the top line being black under the Install tab, and unable to type there. Anyone have this problem, and or know how to fix it?

No idea if this is helpful, but whenever lich goes psycho on me I open the game through SGE, close it, and then usually lich is ok again.

I feel like an Idiot but ummm... well I'm not sure how to do that o.O never opened it any way other than just having the stormfront circle greened in.

Do you have the little shield icon for SGE (Simutronics game entry?) Just click on that. Otherwise, log in through the website; that worked for me, too.

Tried SGE, then lich again with no success, the top line (Website Launch Order) is still empty under the Install tab, which was filled before I can't help thinking that is my whole problem 8( note - I can't type in anything, like it's just mad at me...

I'm having a similar issue with my Ranger. I can log in all my other chars but not him. Can on wiz but not SF. dunno, tried clearing his file, re-booting the pc. He was working fine last night.

What does lich\temp\debug-#.txt say?

I see about 21 debug files, which sounds weird by the way you said that, this is the latest 1.

the issue with my ranger just went away. Nothing i did changed it. ghosts

Multiple reinstalations haven't help.

That debug file says you opened Lich and didn't click anything. What else ya got?

Try reinstalling the Simu Launcher http://www.play.net/software/lnchInst.exe

OMG it was sooo simple when I saw this, You are perfectly right but when you have install greyed out under the Install tab in the lich window and you try to reinstall the Launcher you get an error that says -

"The file "C:\Program Files\Ruby-1.8.7-p352\bin\rubyw.exe" "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Games\Gemstone Stuff\lich.rbw" \help32.txt' could not be opened. Please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destinatio"

I'm sure you knew that you can't install the launcher under those conditions but I tried like 10 times and got that error thinking it was something else, I uninstalled what ever that is lol and tried it just for the hell of it and eureka! Thank you so much!
