I nominate this one for April:
I'll fill people in on the Catts/Ostan backstory.
Ostan was hunting in the same area, slaughtering the masses like a swirling array of death. But since he's not THAT strong, and didn't want to be that encumbered by the billions of pounds of boxes that he was gathering. So rather than risk the janitor picking them up, or filling up his containers to capacity, he kept them in the safest place he could think of: On the bench on the dais in Ta'Illistim. That way, everyone could keep their eyes on his boxes for him. He didn't bother mentioning that he was doing this, or tell people that the boxes were his, he just went off and filled up the entire dias with boxes.
In comes the terrible, terrible Catts, just looking to cause trouble, and he finds piles upon piles of boxes. Now, there aren't any pickers on the dais, or they would have been borderline comatose, smoking a cigarette after shoving their lockpicks in all those tiny boxes repetitively. Being a halfling in the elven city, he's pretty much obligated to clean up after the snooty elves, so he gets down, and starts picking up some of these boxes cluttering up the sky garden daisy thingy. But since there's no picker, he turns and brings them to the local locksmith, who charges him a leg and a hand to open the boxes! Then the pawnshop gives him a small pittance of silver for the empty boxes not even worth the time it takes to type ;go2 pawnshop. And then he returns to the newly cleaned dias, where the haughty elves ignore his pleas for a new arm and leg, because they're too busy AFK scripting, or just ignoring his halfling squeaks!
Ostan is furious at what has occurred. Nobody has the right to assume that items left in a public place on the ground are clear for the taking! He confronts Catts, he stalks Catts, he says mean, nasty things on Lnet about his thieving halflingness. Catts breaks down into tears in an emotional show of sorrow and remorse, and offers to fully reimburse Ostan both silvers that he got from all of his hard work, but the damage had been done! Ostan's boxes are lost forever. Ostan refuses to accept Catts' apology, and instead turns to rampage on the other people on the Dais. Czeska was first, being a close friend of Catts, and pretty much everyone. Such a thief is ill deserving of such friends! Clearly she must be an accomplice to his horribly criminal acts!
Lnet backed up Catts on the story, but to little avail, as he had already untuned from lnet, and huddled into a fetal position against the bench on the dais.
To this day, Catts still cleans the dais for the elves, hoping for the occasional tip so that one day he may afford a better bow to hunt with, like the 5x fusion composite bow that I happen to be selling at the moment for only 4m. He's also warn interacted Ostan, which caused Ostan to send many lulzy messages through lnet, clearly disrespecting the game and Catts further.
