View Full Version : Has anyone compared t2 flares to t1 flares yet?

So I've done two t1 and have another t1 coming up. I'm wondering if anyone has checked flare frequency and magnitude on t2. I know it's 6 CS boost on t2 vs 3 CS on t1 but I'm curious about the rest.

I've done a ton of trials on t1 with 14.2% flare frequency (almost exactly one in 7). I think I always get back 6 mana, or 5-8 health.

I just got T2 put on my longbow. T1 gave me +5 AS or +8 stamina, while T2 gives me +10 AS or +9-13 stamina so far. I'd be willing to bet that the stamina is random from 4-8 and 9-16. I need to do some more testing later, though. AS is a *far* more common flare than stamina, however.

The AS portion only triggered if you were at max [resource], correct?

Nope, I specifically kept my stamina at about half, and the flares still triggered AS about 80% of the time (an anecdotal guess). I wish it boosted AS only if my stamina were full; that would be more useful to me.

A bit of confusion here.

Your flare has a chance to regen spirit, health, stamina or mana. There AS/CS boosting ONLY can happen if the resource is full. I would guess that when you got the AS bonus it was from a flare that tried to increase your health, not your stamina (since your stamina wasn't full).

Mana flares only happen on mana attacks, stamina flares only on physical attacks, the others can happen on any attack.

Ahh. That makes sense. My health was, indeed, full. I'll test it out some more later.

Also, has anyone tested to see if each flare (health/stamina/spirit or health/mana/spirit) comes up with basically equal probability?

flares: 94
heals: 3
manas: 24
spirits: 0
acuities: 67

I was rarely missing health, and never missing spirit. So all I can really say is 24/94 flares were mana, 70/94 were 'other'. Few enough trials that I'm willing to bet that mana flares come up 1/3 of the time, but I bet it's not more than that.
