When I am logged in and attempt to download a script (even a script I know exists, like ;ising), the repository always says the script doesn't exist. When I look at the GUI, it shows about 10 scripts total in the repository. Is there some flag I need to use to access the scripts on the repository or am I doing something else wrong? I haven't been able to download a script in months!

Here's a screenshot of ;repogui

You can do it manually. ;repos download ising, for example.

Huh, that is weird. I always used to use ;repo download <script> and it worked just fine. Then it stopped working. Now it works if I use ;repos instead of ;repo. Thanks.

Still ... it would be nice to see the list of scripts. Don't necessarily need the GUI, just to see the list.

Why the fuck does your front end look like that?

You can do it manually. ;repos download ising, for example. She did do that.

Edit: Apparently she didn't do that because repos and repo are different things? You should check your Lich scripts directory, since I'm pretty sure Lich lets you use script shortcuts, so you probably have something called repo.lic and something called repository.lic, or something.

Edit again: Oh, I see, ;repo shortcuts to repogui.lic. I've never used that, which means it didn't exist when Lich was created, so I wouldn't trust that it's any good.

I used Wizard, too, but you don't even utilize half the screen.

Yeah, I have issues. I get too distracted and then I die if there's too much stuff on my screen. I guess I never progressed past what it looked like when I was a teenager. Watching me MA is probably hilarious.

How large are repogui and repository? Is it possible to copy/paste them here? I'm guessing repogui is just checking a directory that only repogui uses, so anyone else is uploading to the directory repository checks.

I'm not sure how repogui works, but I'd consider it a dead project. Someone tried a while back to put something together to help organize the repo somewhat since it has been flooded with 100 versions of the same sort of script, but it never really caught on.

What's the command to just see the library of scripts without the GUI?

;repository list alpha

If you just type ;repo it will activate repoGui because G comes before S in respoSitory

Your version of repogui is old and connecting to the wrong server. You can update it using new or old versions of either repository or repogui.

Thanks Tillmen and Evarin. I will update my version.

If you download a script called "repoGui" it will take precedence over "repoSitory" by glory of the alphabet.

;repository help is your friend, as is ;lnet help, ;waggle help, ;magic help, ;go2 help, and so on and so on.
