Been to Uganda not Kenya dying to go though. I was thinking something to de-stress me, if it was winter I would go to the Carribean

Are you looking to stay in the US, or not? If in: Vegas, New Orleans, Orlando...
If not: Venice & Florence, Paris & Marseilles (or Provence in general), Geneva & Zurich.

Switzerland is beautiful this time of year, as is the south of France. You might also consider Ireland. :)
