Why does the gemstone calendar list a slew of upcoming katana alterers (including one tomorrow) when only a handful of people own them? I suppose the quest this month will introduce some into the game. Still seems odd to have an alterer tomorrow for such a few amount of people.

1. They can be converted.
2. Wtf do you expect to happen? They still have the exact item they paid for.

They'll stay katanas that aren't katana based, still worth a good deal of money.

Does anyone know the specifics of how this "katana quest" is going to work? I mean, how are they going to involve all the players that want to participate?

There are two crit weighted newstyle katanas at Wilvar's Weapons in Solhaven. Each of them has a show and a name (one is written in Erythian and named Redemption).

Ardwen has a 7x very heavy crit weight katana at his shop that can be easily converted. However, falchion based katanas will become more valuable as more people convert them.

Speaking of katanas, does anyone know when Balouga's raffle was rescheduled for? I'm not seeing it on the calender yet, but it's possble I missed it...
