So, I've been pondering this question for a long time. If the Ranger Guild stopped being just a silver suck so you can have "Member of the Ranger Guild" in your profile, what would those skills be?
The one thing that makes a lot of sense to me would be tricks for your companion. If Rangers could train their companions to improve on their base skills, I think that would be awesome.
Some examples:
Avian companions can learn to pluck eyeballs out of enemy combatants.
Feline companions could learn to target the jugular.
Canine companions could learn to pin down your target.
Rodent companions could learn...something.
Of course the feline and canine companions could learn many similar things I'm sure. I just always thought this would be a cool idea. The only down sides I can really see is having to code at least three different types of skills based on companion type, and what would rangers do before 30 in the guild?
Any thoughts on this? Maybe we could plan it all out and send it to Simu. They got monks out, maybe in 10 years they could do this too.
