I love shopping in real life.. I like buying things I need and don't need but must haves etc. Heck, I love shopping in gemstone too, but I don't have that same excitement that I get in real life since it's not tangible.. I buy things.. there are many items I wouldn't mind having.. nice items.. but I never was into paying cash for items in gemstone.. or buying silvers.

Why do you pay cash for text or codes? Do you spend more money in gemstone than you do in real life on yourself? Is gemstone life better than reality?

You need another option:

I haven't purchased anything for cash, but it's part of the game now, so I deal with it.

I mean't to ask Vihn.. Just how many over 50 train characters do you have anyway?? I know you have 3.. or do you have more?

I have 2... and 3 more over 30.

One of the reasons why Falgrin is stuck at 62 :(

No. But I probably would if I had the spare money.

Only thing I buy for real cash is pay events that catch my eye. I can't really justify buying items for hundreds of dollars. I can spend that money in so many betters ways (bills, other video games, put it into the car, ect. ect.)

I have one fairly high level rogue and one low level warrior.

My brother owns the level 56 sorceror.

So, I guess two on my account. The other characters I play aren't mine.

I have bought silver on two occasions. 2 Million total.

I will most likely buy more silvers in the future. I see it as time. I can hunt for days on end to get the silver, or I can pay for it.

I bought one character, but it wasn't exactly a lot of money. I think I spent $15 on him (took over the account). It was such a horrid transaction/experience getting him that I'd never do it again (long story).

I buy silver every now and again. I justify it by saying that Naessi's mother left her a rich inheritance and that Ciston is her personal banker who holds it in trust. Silly story, I know, but I HATE HATE HATE to hunt. I hate it.

The first time I bought silver was when I bought Naessi's house and realized how much it would cost to furnish it. I don't do it often, just before pay events usually.

I'll never buy anything, but I am contemplating selling silvers as soon as I purchase some armor.

Never.

Yep...

So far my balance sheet is that I've sold for more than I bought so far.

Hopefully it will stay that way.

The only way I will see a million silver is if I buy it. I have only done it once right before the Ebon Gate Festival. I don't do it often, but I probably will do it again.

I've never bought, but I have sold a character and some silvers. With the money I bought a RL beautiful silver and garnet ring. (my daughters birthstone)

Nope.

Silvers tempted me once during a pay event but I realized the items would just end up like most of the others... stuck in a locker or backpack.

I picked no. I think paying for my acct. is good enough. $80 for an event ticket....umm, no. I'd rather buy a piece of clothing or something. If I had enough silvers to sell and pay for that event ticket, oh yes, I would. Other than that, if it was coming out of my own pocket, nah, I wouldn't. That's money to go out, bump that mess!

Yes. A mil way back when. No events ever though.

I did buy a gemstone verb coffee mug on ebay with real money, but as it's a real tangible thing, I don't think that counts.

I've paid for a few events - Black Swan, H4H, etc.

Mostly they were for fun and adventure, but I also attended the infamous $75 Promise that guaranteed an auction quality item for everyone.

The Promise is where I won the ring with 24 unique familiars. If I sold the ring it would more than pay for all the other event fees combined.

I'm considering purchasing a character.

Other than that, never spent anything.

Haha. I was wondering if someone else would be less lazy than I and pull it up.

I've never bought/sold a character/silvers but I don't really mind it anymore. I like to spend 15 dollars on a purse or shoes, not on 1million silvers of a text game. If that's what people want to invest their money in, more power to them.

Events I consider something different. I consider this a hobby of mine so while my boyfriend blows 84 dollars at the sports shop for loading equipment, I spend 80 dollars on a merchant event and have a total blast.

Should I ever be fortunate enough to have enough silver to sell and be comfortable? Sure. I'm no where near that yet though. :D

I don't think I could ever sell a character though, I'm too attached.

I bought like 4mil in silvers once. Back when I was single and had retarded amounts of expendable income (being in the military = no bills that you don't choose to have) so I bought some. Just spent them on some armor I think...

I never ended up buying the silvers. It was to get a 10x db item... and I don't have a 10x db item, now do I?

I've never bought any Gemstone item with real money. I use to hate people who did, but the more I thought about it, the less I cared. If someone wants to spend the money, then so be it.

I have however on the hand bought a 130+ character (gs3) for 20m silver. It was an offer I couldn't pass up.

Damn, that was a sweet deal.

No, but I cannot say that I haven't been tempted to spend some birthday money on a few million silver. I just don't think I could bring myself to do it when I could make it in two or so days of serious hunting.

I could never sell a character either. There's no way they could be Naessi the right way!

I could/will sell a character for a retarded amount of money/silvers.

edit: If you want to pay me way too much for a level 30 rogue in the middle of some serious migration time, you know how to contact me.
