Lobster 1 Me: 0

So I had some lobster and shrimp last night and to my surprise I develope a shellfish allergy. No problem I figure, it'll go away.

Well, I get home, lie down for a bit and wake up and my eyes are a bit swollen and red. "Fuck", I say to myself. It'll go away in the morning.

Anyway, I end up waking up at 4 AM and find out that I can't open my eyes worth a damn. Fucking things are crusted shut (Gross, I know).

Figure I'll go to the ER and get this under control. No reason to look like a freak and the fact that the actual eyeball was swollen was disturbing to say the least. Anyway, they stick me with some adrenaline and pills.

Goddamn, that adrenaline rocked. I felt all speedy and shit for a good 30 minutes. I want more now :-/.

Moral of the story? Adrenaline injections rock and shellfish sucks for me.

I can eat all the shellfish I want.. the only time I get any sort of reaction is when I eat crab legs and break them open myself. My hands get all puffed up.

Man, if there wasn't that chance of death, I'd definatly go for sea food. I can't stop thinking how awesome that adrenaline shot was.

It sucks, cause my favorite food WAS lobster, but that stuff pwns the dogshit out of me. Then again.. Maybe if I keep eating it, my body will be like, "OK U WIN SHELLFISH ROX"

you could always carry Epi-pens. Epenephrine = Adrenaline, unless I'm too friggen tired right now and can't remember meds correctly.
