I guess it's all how much you believe Hulk's strength is unlimited. I always remember the more angry Hulk gets, the bigger and stronger he gets. Superman doesn't have unlimited strength I don't believe.

I always wondered if Superman gets his power from the Earth's sun, why does he have power at night?

I didn't even see Frankie Muniz in that video.

What gives?

I always wondered if Superman gets his power from the Earth's sun, why does he have power at night? Proximity to a yellow sun....even facing away from the sun we're still "close" to it. He's not made of solar cells like a battery or a car. L2NERD

Problem is Superman can beat hulk, but it's unlikely he would use the means needed to beat him. Supermans greatest weaknees is his 'scouts honor' and the fact he won't kill.

Though a better matchup would be hulk vs thor. Thor's magic would tear superman up.

I always wondered if Superman gets his power from the Earth's sun, why does he have power at night? The same way a human doesn't need to be actively eating to engage their strength, Superman does not need to be actively absorbing sunlight to engage his super strength. Because he after all lives in a comic book, the amount of energy stored and the duration it can be stored are wildly elastic as any given story requires.

This. Hulk's strength is based on anger and his capacity for anger appears to be nearly unlimited. Superman was "killed" by Doomsday who was essentially a crappy Hulk knock off with bonespurs. The Hulk once destroyed a planet. A whole planet.

superman's destroyed many planets! and doomsday would destroy the hulk...anything with powers based off will/anger is still limited...and doomsday was just a emotionless creature of destruction that only got stronger with each death...it wasn't until superman put emotion in him that he was finally able to kill doomsday for good. Superman's power being based on the sun makes his strength truly limitless...so kryptonite aside, superman wins hands down

only thing he really loses too is magic, but you don't see a lot of that in DC besides wonder woman's ghey lasso thing, and zatana , who rarely plays a roll anyway

What if the Hulk was made out of kryptonite?!

Doomsday vs hulk would be interesting. As would superman vs goku. I think goku wins though

as for superman vs goku this has been the topic of debate for years...finally settled, though! The detail and logic this vid uses is pretty sweet actually:

To be fair to Superman, that was just a cheap marketing ploy.

The Hulk vs. The Thing. Is all I can think of and that would be pretty one-sided :-\
