I really dislike GSP's fighting style but I dislike Diaz as a person so I will reluctantly root for GSP.

First fight is a bit slow.

UFC doesn't care if the fighters smoke weed?

He's been busted before. It was a while ago.

Nick was busted twice, I think. He just came off of a one year suspension for it. He said in the press conference that he smoked more this time than he did last time, too. He could file for a therapeutic exemption. The NSAC said they would be open to it so he could fight there. I think he just doesn't give a fuck enough to bother, though.

Dana said if Nick tests positive again he'd probably be let go from the UFC.

Condit walks that cage wall like it was the floor.

main event was lame. So many of them have been lame it feels like its become WWE.

That's a GSP fight for you. He will win but it won't be exciting. If you want a champ that finishes fights stick with Silva.

I enjoyed GSP vs Condit. The whole walking around doing nothing from Nick was bleh.

lol. Diaz is so fucking unstable. His camp is objecting to how Georges wrapped his hands. Diaz is all respectful to Georges after the fight. Then he pushes someone from Georges camp. He says he wants to retire. Then he calls for a rematch with Georges, saying he hits like a girl. It must be like a circus every day to be around him.

Nick is a punk ass. "I'm not making excuses.. but {insert excuse here}" "Boo hoo, I am going to retire because I just got my ass kicked"

I can't believe how gracious GSP was after the fight.

This. So tired of the bullshit. I understand they have to 'hype the fight' but with GSP AND Silva both saying, oh, they're good guys. Last night GSP said it was for promoting a good fight. It's getting tiresome. Don't pretend to hate one another then just go 5 rounds, bang, submit, maim, break something...it's really turning me off that it's going for 'entertainment'. Griffin and Bonner were friends for fuck's sake.

I went into the fight rooting for Diaz, but them he comes out with metal mullisha on his shorts and he's swinging at gsp after the bell for the first 3 rounds. What a fag.

And he starts crying about gsp's wrestling during the interview? Saying he's done? Good fucking riddance. You were dominated for 4 rounds. Deal with it.

The guy got to stand with gsp for a long time and he couldn't take advantage of it. He should retire.

The only fight I really want to see is gsp vs silva. I doubt it'll happen but that's the fight.

UFC is going to milk GSP as long as they can. GSP sells ppv buys. A event with GSP gets $15 -$25m more buys on average then one without GSP.

So to have GSP actually get beaten won't help them much (yet), he is still in the prime, got easily 5-6 more years of fighting in him if he chooses. He has also changed his style, less high risk, more controlling.

I'm not saying the fights are rigged, they just don't want to put him in a match where he is likely to loose.

GSP is riding this high, he gets about $200k to show up, and $200k for a win (highest in the ufc) while this number seems a bit low for a top card (compaired to boxing). He also gets a cut of the PPV buys that isn't disclosed. I'm sure his total take per match is in the $3-4m range.

He's raking in the cash, and so is UFC with him as a top card. They will make this last as long as possible.
