Any Wizards out there sporting ASG 10 armor want to let me know how it works out for ya? Im pondering training my wizard for it since Ive got my hands on some 2x very heavily padded set.

I stopped at double leathers. Main reason I did was because I have a good set of doubles. I used to be trained for brig and training for torso chain before the armor changes so you got my vote for heavy armor.

Yea it seems that ill have the same hinderance in cuirb with the wizard as my cleric did in brig which I really didnt have a problem with and I think I can tuff it out in the 7% hinderance for the extra padding.

I use doubles which are 4% hinderance and it doesn't bother me at all I don't think an extra 3% is a big deal. Since you've got a nice set of cuirb I say go for it.

i was curious if its still possible for wizards to use heavier armors, i'm wanting to train up for brig but not sure if its even an option yet...how many ranks etc...would i need to minimize hinderance, i hear something like 130 which obviously isn't an option to do, but i figured if i could get Cel in some FGB that'd turn into some fun destructo damage, currently in some basic altered 4x doubles, figured if i got my hands on some high enchant high padded doubles i'd stick with it, but was wanting to go heavier....any clue?

You won't go higher than cuib. Brig is 130 ranks you heard correct.

If you want to wear brig.. be a semi.

Wizards do not belong in brig... and they don't need it.

Yea I don't see that Brig would be too hard against a Wizard trained for it especially if they fight like Anticor does its just heavy on the expense to get that many armor ranks in. Cuirb I figure is about par for me on the scale market being as 35 ranks isnt too extreme a goal, probably wouldnt bother with it if I didnt have the nice set though.

Bullshit.

The cost factor of getting a wizard into brig... plus the maneuver penalty plus the spell failure would equal Anticor eating a big slice of humble pie and having to say "FUCK, MY DADDY WAS RIGHT AGAIN!"

Now go to your room.

I was talking pre armor changes dork. There is a reason I'm staying in doubles now.
