Well here we go. He contacted me and we got together in Gardenia Commons. I showed him how to use PCalc and the response showed that he does indeed have a decent number of points. He gave me his waraxe, I gave him my platemail. He picked up the scroll and wrote out the request... all cut and pasted to me in AIM window, and correct.

Then we spent a couple hours talking about rogue sniper builds, which seems to be what he's trying to build up coins for. Berean may not be going anywhere anytime soon, which helps me sleep a little better. I'm helping him shave some time off of his aimed hiding shot.

Things seem to be going as they should in a standard transaction and it's looking like he simply needs to learn the merchanting etiquette, and perhaps smoke enough doobs to chill out when people negrep him =) We'll see how it goes, and I'll update as soon as there's another something to say.

Out of curiosity, if you are getting it damage padded, why use premium points when the Adventurer's Guild will put temp damage padding on for bounty points? I understand that the guild padding is only temp but bounty points are relatively easy to come by and keep it charged up, while premium points are...more rare. Is there something I'm missing?
