I think you can get another easily now from the premie building in each town if your intention is simply to get to FWI, but understand wanting it back if it's personalized.

You might want to post about this on the officials. I don't think they should be stealing these and I bet it is a bug. I know they take magical trinkets but it would be very odd if that included your 4wi transport item.
