Peam you made my night. My dad told that to me like a day or two ago and I repeated it to a friend and they were all "Nu uh, if that was true I would've known about it." And there it is. Thank you Peam.

My dad heard it on some radio show the other day and they said that bush is nearly clinically psychotic.

Here's what I figure Weedmage, even if that exact article isn't the most trustworthy thing, for me it's the second time it's been brought up which gives credence to the fact that somewhere there is truth to it.

Yeah I hear you.
It just seems kind of sloppy, especially the end..a political consultant saying that Bush is "Looney Tunes" ??? Heh.
That's not to say he's NEVER had some sort of emotional problem or maybe even takes something. (Playing Devil's Advocate here) It just seems this article might have embellished things just a bit.

That doesnt really mean anything. I mean a couple of months ago i heard on two different places that Kerry had an affair with his intern. That has been debunked and im sure this will to. If he is fighting depression tho i feel his pain.

Yes, Bush is on drugs. That is why not a single trustworthy news channel or website has said a thing about it. I don't even bother to pick up a real newspaper, I just get my daily dose of news from capitolhillblue.com and theonion.com. Please tell me you aren't seriously that retarded?

Well holy shit, the President of the greatest nation in the world got pissed off. I don't even like Bush and I still don't see what the point is.

All I know is what my dad said he heard on the radio was that Bush was taking a lot of medication and that he could almost be considered I think a manic depressive. Is that the right term? I'll ask my father again tomorrow.

Do you believe everything you hear on the radio? I hear a lot of stuff that I know is false. Sorry, if this was a true story, it would be plastered all over the news.

I don't believe everything I hear on the radio, I don't even listen to the radio, I simply liked having something else confirm it.
Of course it's not going to be picked up by major news networks. It's not like he dropped his bottle of valium. All the article provides is an analysis provided by a regarded psychiatrist, which in turn raises some interesting points.

<I don't believe everything I hear on the radio, I don't even listen to the radio, I simply liked having something else confirm it.>
You know, this is why a few years ago I started to make a site full of misinformation. I was bored, and wanted to prove that people will believe anything they hear, read, or see, so long as it is confirmed by another source. Too bad I got lazy, it would've been fun to see the misinformation spread.

I actually thought it would be funny if someone did this. Create a whole bullshit website that looks legit and site sources that don't exist but look credible. In a few months just see how far it can run.
It really wouldn't take much. Two or three websites that keep citing each other, giving them all more credibility by the average bystander's perspective.
Imagine it being quoted on a reputable news show? heh.

Anyone who's done things like this is fucking sick in the head, regardless of diagnosis from a doctor.
I was sure the outcry of "NOT CREDIBLE!!!!!!1" would be heard, but just for shits and giggles what exact elements null the credibility of the provided website?

Check out their FAQ...

Doesn't look like they really employ anyone on a regular basis. Sounds like a good portion of their stuff can come from just about anyone with their submission policy.

No, because Drudge is a proven misleader.
However, there is a whole world of credible independant news out there, not just Fox, NBC, CBS, and ABC.

I must say though...if there were ever anyone that such a story was told about...someone in the public eye, I'd have to say...he DOES seem to fit that mold.
I can totally see him storming off screaming "Get these motherfuckers away from me."
He does seem like a hothead, you HAVE to agree with that.

His actions seem like that of a hothead but the times i see him in public it dont. Ive not seen him flip out or anything in public.

Probably because the article is about as partisan as it gets.
As I said in an earlier post on the subject, the bottle of valium didn't fall out of the guy's pocket. Rather, a respected psychiatrist observed his actions, made a diagnosis, and was met with support from within his professional field.
This, along with the other reported information in the article, leads me to believe there is some truth behind the accusation.

In his position I could see it. Pretend he's a real innocent guy, none of it was planned or anything, he's your average guy. Imagine having to be leader through 9/11 and then through Iraq. I could see depression.

Dont you think Clinton having sex with Monica was pretty partisan? None of the media had any trouble doing that story day after day.

That's all I'm saying...he is a hothead. All the presidents *I* remember (that'd be late Reagan but not really, Bush Sr., and Clinton) ...each of these men seemed more...calm, cool and in control. Dubbya seems to be quite the firecracker.
All I'm saying is it's not hard to believe that it's medication keeping him in check.
Then again, I'd also like to think that our government wouldn't allow someone with those kind of issues to run for a position of such responsibility as the President of the United States. I mean Hell, you'll have trouble becoming a member of the NYPD or LAPD if you have a history of emotional/psychological troubles...and last I heard they're BEGGING for people to join.
The evidence in the Clinton scandal was as concrete as it gets. As I've said three times now, the valium didn't fall out of his pocket.
I've drawn my conclusion from a professional's diagnosis and then support from inside his professional field, provided with supporting evidence reported in the article.

were later confirmed by prominent George Washington University psychiatrist Dr. Justin Frank Uh... I guess that doctor-patient confidentiality thing was just a big hoax? Or did this doctor just make a second/third/ninth hand diagnosis?

Actually I think doctor/patient condifidentiality ends when it can hurt others or something. That I could be wrong about but I was pretty sure that like if you said "I''m gonna kill a hundred people with a bomb tomorrow" that they could report it.

I think you're right, but I don't think publishing a book is a great method of reporting it to the proper authorities.

I heard on Rush Limbaugh that Kerry dresses in womans clothes and prances in the street. I think there is a blurred picture on the Dredge Report.
That's what I just got from Peam's initial post and the website he quoted.

Yeah I have to agree. If any of the News Stations were reporting this I would have to believe it to some degree. I would not be surprised if he is on anti-depressants since he has an extremely stressful job. I would rather he be medicated than not, ya know.
However, what I think is someone got word he's probably taking one anti-depressant and decided to make a bull shit story about him taking several and just blow it all out of proportion. Which is quite often done.
I like him and I am still voting for him. I feel safer knowing he's the type of President who will kick some ass, if the occasion arises. Kerry, in my opinion, seems to be a pussy who will say anything to get elected. He has flipfloped so much, who knows what the guys real stand is. I bet he doesn't even know. lol.
The accusation was also on the Glenn Beck Show, a largely right-leaning radio program, this morning.
Until CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times or any other credible news source reports this story I will view it some scepticism. There is a lot about Bush I don't like but Kerry is no peach either.
So he got pissed off so has Teresa Heinz Kerry and Dick Cheney.
It looks like Partisan Propaganda so far.
