They re-ran HSN in the mid-2000s, didn't they?

Drew

I wouldn't necessarily agree with this. If the Premium position is that NO basic members should have had a shot at the Festival because Festival admission is a Premium perk, then any Basic account that got a slot took the place of what would otherwise have been taken by a Premium slot.

If it makes Jarvan feel any better I got a slot with my basic account and not my premie account. So at the maximum only 13 of those accounts were basic only.

Famously with Melissa having to post an apology on the forums when it was done for having the entire staff forget about doing any releases for sorcerers (every other profession got something).

The early-mid 90's Hot Summer Nights auctions had tents with escalating bids though it seemed a bit less automated from what I remember. Misdy (Misty?) outbid me by a hair and I didn't get the color changing cloak I wanted. Ended up with a pair of self charging water walking boots I sold to Thalior for 100 THOUSAND silvers heh. It was a princely sum to me and I was able to buy a set of 8x crit padded fulls with the money.

Good times. :)

Misdy.

I wanted to bid on that cloak too but was super poor then being only an occasional player. Lulz phone bills.

Heh, that was my first auction experience in gemstone. I was borrowing money like crazy that would have taken months to pay back and I just couldn't make the last bid to top her. Oh well. I blame that era for stealing years of my life I should have spent going to class. :)

Was Hot Summer Nights that long ago? Early to Mid 90's?

There was HSN1 in early? 90's and HSN2 in late 90's?.

I couldn't tell you the dates closer than that because who the hell remembers that far back, but HSN2 was the pavilion silver/token auction doodad at TSC. HSN1? I think there was just a bunch of tents in town. I can barely remember other than wondering how these people got so rich with their 12k silvers.

EN opened in late 2000, iirc. I remember doing the seminar for it at Simucon '00.

I was the same way! I ended up with a fishbowl that had all of 5 scripts to it. I was hoping for something more like that firefly pet.

Hey, was the firefly pet in a bowl and it buzzed and made things bright colors? Like purple.

What event was it that had tokens for bidding on items, I remember you had to be premium to get a token or you couldn't get on the airship? That's the first time I saw the airship, it was after the first Promise I'm almost positive. I actually won a moonstone pendant on it that changed phases with the moon and it had a loresong and was about Moonstone Abbey. I ended up giving it to my friend who was one of the members of the Abbey but she doesn't play anymore. She hasn't for years. There were I think 12 of them, one for each of the 'witches' or some such. I know that Moonstone Abbey was looking to get a hold of all of them at one time.

From the officials regarding envelopes:

>>If finding the ticket is completely random then wouldn't there be a chance that the ticket isn't found before the event takes place?

There is that possibility. But items are found every day in this game. If it's not found in 30 days, I'd be shocked.

Really? So there is a chance that the random ticket found in envelopes might not even be found?

There were at least 3 HSN auctions in the mid 90's-ish. I got the boots at one, another UBER item ... one of the first pocketed non backpack wearables, a form-fitting silk surcoat at another and a death flail at a third one (in that order). I still have the surcoat too, its pin worn and a single deepening got it up to medium at EG. I need to keep working on it, I just never really thought about getting it worked on before but it might turn out to be nice. It came out just after we could hold more than 20 items in inventory, hell who needed more pockets before then? :)

The death flail I set for trolls and gave away before I left to I think Celtar? Oh well, live and learn hehe.

Unfortunately the death weapons set to the npc noun only, so it only works on something something troll, so a grimswarm troll warrior, etc it wouldn't proc on. Still not the worst critter type to set it for, especially then .. it was either giants or trolls for something with a decent spread of level ranges.

The Impure (LESSER) coraesine weapons have no abilities that use mana. Their main draw are the double strike flares, and air flares.

The Pure (MAJOR) coraesine uses mana for two different abilities.
The Call Wind property requires the user to be full on mana, and drains all of it.
The Hand of Tonis ability, which is usable three times per day, requires 15 mana per use. I might have missed mentioning it in all the teasers. But yes, 3x/day use of Hand of Tonis. Good for clearing clouds!

I think the pricing bumps per enchant are insane, and don't reflect the real value of items in the game. It just seems to me that adding creature bane to a 10x item is not worth four times as much as adding it to an 8x item. There are other things much more valuable then enchant.

Jarvan
05-04-2013, 04:17 PM
Pricing for this event will have a lot of variables. There is just no avoiding that. But I've tried to alleviate as much of the pain as I could. Pricing for the following services will use the chart below: Creature Banes, AsG changes, ChronoFlares, Make-a-Returner, Blink Weapons, and Splitting Weapons.

Final Enchant Pricing
+0 15000 silvers
+5 30000 silvers
+10 60000 silvers
+12 75000 silvers
+15 120000 silvers
+20 240000 silvers
+25 500000 silvers
+30 1500000 silvers
+35 3000000 silvers
+40 6000000 silvers
+45 12000000 silvers
+50 24000000 silvers

Item Service Price
4x Brigandine Plain to HCP 500k
7x Brigandine Plain to HCP 7.7m
9x Brigandine Plain to HCP 18.25m
10x Brigandine Plain to HCP 60m
4x Brigandine HCP to MCP 1m
7x Brigandine HCP to MCP 12m
9x Brigandine HCP to MCP 31m
10x Brigandine HCP to MCP 90m
4x Brigandine MCP to ECP 2.7m
7x Brigandine MCP to ECP 27.3m
9x Brigandine MCP to ECP 61m
10x Brigandine MCP to ECP 211m*

Jarvan
05-04-2013, 04:29 PM
so if 9x Brig MCP to EXCP is 61 mill, doubles should be less then 61 mill, (but figure 61 mill) add in surcharge for resistances.. I would hope it wouldn't cost more then 100 mill.

"Bane" covers a few things and we've had confusion about it.

The old Death Weapons are a primitive form of "bane", keyed to one specific noun of critter. They are a script.

The Elven Trollbanes (the ones that speak Elven and tell you to burn all the trolls) were a later incarnation with a wider application. They are also a script.

The current Creature Bane services that have been going out for a few years are something new. They should work with absolutely any script imaginable, because they were designed with new bits to toggle, just so they wouldn't interfere with anything else. It is handled by a script, but that's done deep in the heart of the Combat Mechanics code. So the scripting application is not done to the weapon in question, leaving its script slot free for other things.

It's a very robust system and handles groupings of creatures (such as all orcs, all trolls, etc.) far better than any of its previous incarnations.

That makes it kind of a powerful service since you can stack it on top of so many other things. It could indeed work on a gem-eater. There might be a surcharge, however.

To further clarify, this is due to the system logging you into our MAJOR wins. Raffles are the culprit where we'll have problems. An auction, well I hope you want the service or item you're bidding on, so that should be moot. And spinners and fishhooks, those should be safe, for the most part. Other methods should be too.

Jarvan
05-05-2013, 02:04 PM
In other words, have multiple items to be worked on for any service you enter a raffle for. Otherwise you will be borked if they say that item is not able to be worked on, or the cost is insanely high.

The crazy part about that structure is that not only is it over-priced for the weapon flares, weapon flares are more effective than armor flares, and far more useful than shield flares, which are active only. They should be half the price of weapon flares at most.

I didn't realize there were older and new ones. Just thought pure and impure. Mine is very old, gs3 version. It has the tendency to flare many times in a row. I didn't realize the new one's didn't do this. Nothing better then taking a swing and hitting something 5 times with a 5 sec rt. Of course I have 135 ranks in MOC so, I get 5 swings + whatever my weapon adds. Nothing lives through that. All at 11 sec rt.

The souvenir this year is sentient, on the same scale as the sand elementals from the Wavedancer quest. I don't want to give too much away, but I want to sate the expectations that this is a mechanical item. It isn't. It's an extremely interactive pet that you have to bond to to unlock more of its abilities. It has some cosmetic abilities, and I think it will be a highly sought after item. It doesn't exactly attune to you, but the bonding process requires an attunement that can be later broken, if you wish.

How you complete the quest will determine a number of aspects on the sentient being, but the end result of the physical item will be the same. Meaning you don't get extra perks by completing the quest it one way or another. Hard to go into details without giving everything away.

This project was by far the biggest project I've coded though for any series of items I've made since I started GMing. Outside the updated spinners and digging, this takes the cake! So I hope everyone who decides to complete the quest and get the souvenir will enjoy it.

~Wyrom, SGM

Sounds neat. Only reason Sand Elementals go for so cheap is because they had 80 runs of the Wavedancer.

I think they feel they did a little pandora's box with fusion. On face value, it isn't that powerful, but I don't know if they realized some of the orb quality out there, and thought about what happens if a single player buys all the best orbs. So you can probably blame people like me for pushing the envelope on it and making them step back from it a little bit.

So you can probably blame people like me for pushing the envelope on it and making them step back from it a little bit.

Do you really think so? There are only so many 1337 orbs out there, you know? Even if there was a whole host of people with four-slot fusion gear, there are only so many orbs to support that gear. I dunno... you may be right, but I prefer to just stick with the long-proven theory that they are inconsistent jerks who lack a valid rationale for 75% of their decisions.

I honestly think they've dialed back the enhancives. Years ago the treasure system produced much cooler enhancives that it does today. Prior to fusion it didn't matter how many +14 to edged mithril broadswords with fire flares they produced, now it sorta does.

Good shit doesn't come up as frequently as it used to.

I think its all more walk back from fusion.

Post Scriptum: No, I can't tell you what it is until the script is out of QC, but rest assured it's neat, you'll probably want it, and it has many different messaging options (think Caster Gloves for an example) to choose from.

There will be 5 defender weapon slots. Hkala will add a 2x defender enchantment, up to 4x if your weapon is already a defender. Defender properties preclude flares and weighting, but does work with fluff scripts and approved combat scripts.

There are some scripted items out there, mostly shovels, that were all wrapped into a farm tools script. That script had a number of bugs, and didn't support all terrains and climates properly. Those have since been fixed. With that, it's been modernized to have an ANALYZE and a drop down menu for StormFront users to click/point to see the verbs. The script only supported rake, hoe, and shovel before. But it now supports hoe, scythe, spade, trowel, rake, plow, and shovel. These will be for sale at RtCF.

>>What do you mean by the other vouchers aren't still out there anymore? The vouchers weren't put back into the system?

I mean, they aren't in the game anymore. They were recycled back into the system and have yet to be found. The limited envelopes are generated at the time of the box being found, not when you open them. So there were 5 total found, 1 was claimed, the other 4 are recycled back into the system. So any existing envelopes out there (as of 4:32pm EDT), being stockpiled, are not winning ones.

Are you sure on your 200 envelope claim? Because that would mean you've found the majority of all envelopes that have gone out.

So remember a few weeks ago I teased you guys about something new I had in the pipeline for RtCF? It's all done now, so take a look!

First Person:
You place your hand on your golvern brooch.
Faint flickers of flame coalesce around the golvern brooch, the lambent red hues dancing across its surface. Suddenly, your surroundings shift...
[Town Square, Southeast]
Foot and wagon traffic swarms off in all directions here, some going to the large intersection with South Ring Road, others crisscrossing the square via the bazaar. Men and women carrying neatly tied parcels or sacks and coils of rope slung over their arms emerge from the wooden facade of the old general store.
Obvious paths: north, south, west, northwest
The flickering flames quickly die as your golvern brooch returns to normal.

And to the audience...
Departure:
Tamuz places his hand on his golvern brooch.
Faint flickers of flame coalesce around Tamuz's golvern brooch, the lambent red hues dancing across its surface. Suddenly, he vanishes!

Arrival:
Tamuz appears in the room, a hand touching his golvern brooch as a faint flicker of flame dies down along its surface.

Currently there are messaging options for: fire, ice, lightning, earth, shadows, light, something gnome-themed, steam/mist, colors, vines, floral, and "out of phase".

If you have an older ring holder and want it converted over to this new option, I can do that at RtCF. I will ask that you all only bring ring holders that have had some previous work done to them (ie: an alteration) or are somehow special (ie: enhancive properties), as the conversion process does take a minute or two for each item and time is going to be tight on the weekends.

This may not come as a big surprise to those following the Items and Inventory folder, but for those of you haven't been - I've created a new script for armor specifically designed for members of the Order of Voln. You can read up on more of the details here: http://tiny.cc/VolnArmor

I'm pleased to officially announce that these armors will be debuting at Coraesine Field! They will be sold off-the-shelf at the Consigner Taeliryn's shop, Caravan Consignments. I'm still waiting on word on specifics regarding how many I will be able to unlock at each tier, any restrictions that may exist for placing this script on existing items, and whether this script will allow items to be eligible for other services such as padding, weighting, enchanting, or what have you. Rest assured though, I'll be sure to let you know when I do!

Bubble flares will be offered via raffle and/or spin. There will be 10 "regular" bubble flares, and 2 "super" given out at each run. Weapon must not have any
pre-existing scripts or special abilities.

Gizwizit the Great will be attending the festivities at Coraesine Field, and will be willing and able to make things more fantabulous. He will work on an assortment of weapons, shields, helms, armor, and unarmed combat gloves and boots.

The scripts that Gizwizit will be unlocking will be Anfelt scripts (weapons/shields/helms/armor). He will also be unlocking a brand new script for unarmed combat boots and gloves, which has not yet been teased. Though that does sound like a good thing to do...

Gizwizit will be unveiling a new kind of fantabulization at Coraesine Field for unarmed combat items. He will be selling an assortment of boots and gloves off the shelf that already come with this script, and will be able to unlock them further. Below you can see what fully unlocked boots and gloves are capable of doing.

-Lydil

Boots

Gizwizit raises one foot, then the other, checking the soles of his leather boots for any rocks or debris.

Gizwizit kicks the sole of one of his leather boots with the toe of the other, trying to dislodge some debris or rocks from it.

Gizwizit leans over and blows down at his leather boots, then reaches down and brushes them off.

Gizwizit leaps up into the air and kicks out one of his leather boots in front of him.

Gizwizit wheels around in a spinning kick, one of his leather boots flashing at head level.

Gizwizit moves his legs quickly in a series of kicks, flashing his leather boots through the air.

Gizwizit drags the toe of one of his leather boots along the floor to create an imaginary line.

Gizwizit drags the toe of one of his leather boots along the rocky ground to create a faint line, then stands behind it and gazes around looking for anyone will to cross it.

Gizwizit drags the toe of one of his leather boots through the sand to create a line, then looks directly at you, daring you to cross it.

Standing on the balls of his feet, Gizwizit bounces between them, moving his arms and legs as if preparing for an opponent.

Gloves

Gizwizit raises his glove-covered fists and assumes a fighting stance.

Gizwizit punches one glove-covered fist into his other open hand, then rubs his glove-covered hand over his fist.

Gizwizit lifts and flexes his hands, then blows upon the knuckles of his leather gloves.

Gizwizit jumps up into the air, thrusts his leather gloves above his head, and lets out a victorious cry!

Gizwizit spins one of his arms around in a circle for several rotations before throwing an exaggerated uppercut with one glove-covered fist through the air in front of him.

Gizwizit extends one glove-covered hand forward and waves his fingers back toward his body, beckoning any challenger to come at him.

Gizwizit whirls around with one glove-covered hand extended forward and waves his fingers back toward his body, beckoning all challengers to come at him.

Gizwizit extends one glove-covered hand in your direction and waves his fingers back toward his body, beckoning you to come at him.

Gizwizit leans his forehead against the heel of one of his palms as he slowly shakes his head, before banging his glove-covered hand against his head several times.

Gizwizit clenches his leather gloves, then methodically works his way through several jabs and punches as he spars an imaginary opponent, before ending with a series of uppercuts.

Reidyn showing off Voln Armor scripts.

I'm glad you like the scripts! I tried to stick to a more serious, somber tone since releasing undead is srs bzns. As an added bonus, I made it so that all the messaging works slightly differently when wearing an armor concealer. When wearing a scripted concealer...

BOW - You forcefully cross one arm over your chest, and offer a formal bow.
TAP - You lift your chin slightly and, in a display of solidarity, tap your fist against your chest twice in quick succession.
STARE - You bow your head and stare grimly at your chest, lost deep within your own thoughts.
CLUTCH - You stare outward, your expression black and tinged with melancholy, as you clutch the long tunic at your breast.

And because I love to tease, here's the Tier 2 fluff verb trap that's available to non-Voln and Voln members alike:

KNEEL Untargeted In an extreme display of respect, you fall to one knee and bow your head in reverence.
Targeted In an extreme display of respect, you fall to one knee and bow your head in reverence of Taeliryn.

It does require that you are standing when you use the verb trap, and it WILL actually make you kneel.

---
And for you Voln-y types...

In the unfortunate circumstance where you die wearing Tier 2 or higher armor...

You see

As your last breath is ripped from your lungs, your failing eyes lock onto one last sight: Above you stands the Paladin Voln, blade drawn and ready. He offers you a single nod, his curt manner and fathomless eyes somehow reassuring even as death pulls you into the dark. As your body stills, you go with the knowledge that Voln himself guards your soul from undeath, that you might continue to walk His path. This time.

Others see

As <person> breathes his/her last, you perceive a faint silhouette standing over his/her form, unbending and poised to defend him/her. The image is gone without a trace before you can even be certain that you saw it at all.
---
Tier 3 Fluff
EXHALE A You tense slightly as the spiritual force of your <armor> swells, its powerful current manifesting as a flash of brilliant light. As you exhale, the light coalesces in your right hand, bathing your <weapon/runestaff> in white-hot radiance.
EXHALE B You tense slightly as the spiritual force of your <armor> swells, its powerful current manifesting as a flash of brilliant light. As you exhale, the light coalesces in your left hand, bathing your <shield> in white-hot radiance.
EXHALE C You tense slightly as the spiritual force of your <armor> swells, its powerful current manifesting as a flash of brilliant light. As you exhale the light coalesces around you, bathing you in white-hot radiance.
PUSH Every bone in your body seems to ache as you shift your stance, ever stoic. Lifting a wearied hand, you press your palm down over your heart, and silently turn your thoughts toward your devotion to Voln's path. In response, a hazy white glow rises from your <armor> and spreads, bathing you in a rejuvenating light that leaves you stronger and steadier in its wake.

* The script will first check for a weapon or runestaff in the right hand. Failing that, it will look for a shield in the left hand. Failing that, it will default to option C.

Tier 4 Fluff

There's only one fluff verb trap for Tier 4 armor, and it can only be used 1x/week. But it's a doozy!

You See

Focusing intently on your spiritual connection to the Paladin, you lightly trace the outline of a shield upon your <armor>. No sooner than the sigil is complete do you fall into a brief trancelike state, remaining only vaguely aware of a stern voice echoing at the edges of your consciousness.

Others See

Luukos Converts: <Person> focuses intently as <he/she> lightly traces the outline of a shield on <his/her> <armor>. No sooner than the sigil is complete does <he/she> fall into a brief trancelike state, <his/her> lips moving as though in silent prayer. As <his/her> breathless orison continues, an unnatural hum fills the air and a stern voice, heard only within the chamberof your mind, intones, "Tread cautiously, servant of the dark one. The laws of mortals cannot grant you amnesty from my justice."

Voln Converts/Members of the Order of Voln: <Person> focuses intently as <he/she> lightly traces the outline of a shield on <his/her> <armor>. No sooner than the sigil is complete does <he/she> fall into a brief trancelike state, <his/her> lips moving as though in silent prayer. As <his/her> breathless orison continues, an unnatural hum fills the air and a stern voice, heard only within the chamberof your mind, intones, "Beware the Snake and his abominations, for his lies are the path to ruin."

All others: <Person> focuses intently as <he/she> lightly traces the outline of a shield on <his/her> <armor>. No sooner than the sigil is complete does <he/she> fall into a brief trancelike state, <his/her> lips moving as though in silent prayer. As <his/her> breathless orison continues, an unnatural hum fills the air and a stern voice, heard only within the chamberof your mind, intones, "Follow me and you may know true purpose on this great crusade, the Eternal Struggle."

* These are a sample of the messages that people in the room will 'hear'. The actual message will be selected randomly from a handful of message sets for each of the three groups.

Everything but automated shops and raffles can send runners. A big note can be useful for the shops, but generally, you wont need silver aside from very specific instances not relating to major/minor services. There will be a bank on the grounds. The goal is to have it be a "global" bank that draws from wherever you have your silver, but the GMs said if that script doesn't work right they'll just default it to the Landing.

Two updates from Vanah on custom nightmares and sonic alterations:

High Lady Vainne Vylin Faendryl will be at the event, looking for sorcerers willing to share their nightmares.

This will be a delayed service because it needs to be QC'ed, but I would like you to be ready with an idea. Please see the saved post from the Nightmare changes release on KP: http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Customized_Nightmare_(saved_post). (http://www.play.net/bounce/redirect.asp?URL=http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Customized_Nightmare_%28saved_post%29.) I don't have a set time planned; I'll send out a message when I see a good number of sorcerers around. Depending on what time I wake up Saturday and if I've finished with the Gory Weapon and the defenders, I will aim to follow the uncommon rune distribution. Ten custom nightmares will be released at each run.

~Vanah

Melodist Onetta will be at Coraesine Field seeking out bards in need of sonic alterations. I don't have a set time or place planned; I'll send out a message when I see a good number of bards around. Ten sonic alterations will be released at each run, one per bard (except Shattered).

Because these take a good amount of time and I know everyone wants to cram as much as possible in, please come ready with an idea. I am more than happy to help tweak ideas, and at the monthly raffles I like nothing more than taking 30 minutes to come up with the perfect design for the winning bard. In the interest of time management, however, I would appreciate if bards come prepared. The guidelines are:

• The customizations can have either a short description with a show, or a long description. Please refer to ALTER 2 and ALTER 3 in the game for further details on these terms. Singing Swords cannot have a long description; it must be 15/15/15 with an optional show.
• For sonic shields, weapons, and armors, the base description must demonstrate that the item is created from a mass of air. Words such as 'sonic' or 'airy,' would be appropriate to describe the insubstantial nature of the items.
• For Singing Swords, the base description must demonstrate that the item is moving independently of any physical influence. Words such as 'animated' or 'floating' would be appropriate to describe this behavior.
• Not all weapon types are available for Singing Sword. Options for Singing Sword: broadsword, longsword, falchion, composite bow, heavy crossbow, light crossbow, long bow, short bow, cudgel, mace, morning star, twohanded sword, war mattock, jeddart-axe, halberd, quoit, discus, dart, troll-claw, sai, and katar.
• The nouns for the items must be consistent with acceptable nouns for the type of item that is being customized. Please see the Weapon Guide for eligible nouns for Sonic Weapons and Singing Swords, and the Armor Guide for eligible nouns for Sonic Shields and Sonic Armors.
• Before receiving this sort of alteration, please have the following information prepared for the merchant:
-The spell to be customized (Sonic Weapon Song).
-The item base to be customized (a short sword).
-The '15/15/15' description of the item (a wavering/grey sonic/gladius).
-The 'long' or 'show' description desired, if any (a wavering silvery grey sonic gladius shrouded in mist).

Having this information ready beforehand will make the process as painless as possible. As is the case with any sort of alteration, it is always wise to have backup concepts prepared in case an issue arises with the original idea.

After the merchant has finished the process, the custom sonic can be called by PREParing the appropriate spell, and activating it via SING CUSTOM.

Scheduling Update:

I'll try to follow this schedule as closely as possible for all the runs, but I'm purposely shying away from giving specific times as that usually ends poorly.

Weight Reducing Containers (1 AUCTION, 4 SPINNER OR 1,000 SILVER RAFFLE): Saturday afternoon, probably however long it takes me to go grab a good snack after Banes wrap up.

Bane Services (1,000 SILVER RAFFLE OR SPINNER): Saturday, starting around noonish Eastern time to give the West Coasters and European crowd a (relatively) easy time to attend. I'll probably do Choose-your-Own and then proceed through Undead, Orc, Giant, Troll, and Extraplanar in some random order, trying to go every 15-30 minutes based on how long it takes to do them. I anticipate these will be done by around 2 pm Eastern.

MAJOR coraesine (AUCTION): Friday night after I get home from Dungeons and Dragons (priorities!)
MINOR coraesine (RAFFLES): One on Saturday, later in the afternoon, probably closer to 4-5 Eastern. One on Sunday, probably around noon-ish.

Ledirth will be available throughout the weekend to remove properties from your items as needed. Again, I'll make a good faith effort to either attend or be logged in during the MAJOR services where property removal might be desirable, but I can't promise to be around for any specific service on any given run, or for the minors.

I'll also be offering pocket adding for your non-pocketed items that would be suitable containers. As always, I retain the final decision on if something is a suitable candidate for this service. This will be available during any downtime on the weekend.

Finally, I can convert your old gold ring holders over to the fancier new script. This will also be done during weekend downtime, though I ask you only bring ring holders that have had some sort of work (example: alteration) or are otherwise special (example: enhancive), as it takes a few minutes for each item to be converted over.

For the upcoming run, this is the rough schedule I've laid out for myself... The times are APPROXIMATE (Especially on Friday).

I will try to adhere to it as best I can, but as always, things may change. If they do, I'll try to keep you posted! Also, if one raffle takes a longer time than expected to redeem for some reason, please be patient at any of my raffles that follow if I'm a smidge late! ;)

Friday
9:45pm - 2 sighting slots (raffles)
10:30pm - all my Ironwright flare slots (5) (raffles)

Saturday

Well.. seems both Impures are raffles, which means I can't bid on one in an auction, which means my reason for going is now gone.

A 1 in 75 or so chance is not appealing for me. Specially with an attuned item, specially when it's likely someone that won't even use it will win it just because they can.

There are 4 types of coraesine:

Old-as-fuck:
No real consistency with properties, ala the coraesine pike that is acid flaring

Old-style Impure:
DIS/INF bonus type, double swings, does not attune
Some people point to there being catoetine items with these properties as predating what I call "old-as-fuck" coraesine. I personally believe that these were released by a rogue GM during the era when things were far more shifty in that regard than they can be now (kind of like those nonsensical rolaren/xenium yarkbalkas things that pop up from time to time)

New-style Impure:
Attunes with that call of wind or whatever other properties seemingly approve at random.

New-style Pure:
Attunes, generally has more properties than whatever the new-style impure has for that particular event.

Interesting tid-bit... Some of the first new-style impures are probably more powerful than the new-style pures released at this event.

Can't or won't what? I don't understand the mentality of entering for something you'll never use and that's permanently attuned. I certainly can enter the raffle with Jules, but I won't do it because it's pointless.

Oh, I see what you're saying (maybe). You're implying that I could re-roll Jules to be a square and use the weapon. Maybe some people would do that; I would never.

The higher level you get, the less of a difference there is between doubling in brawling and singling for UAC. It's kind of retarded, where they cap it far too low anyway in order to make sure they don't create another Voln Fu monster. Your wizard may end up with a 700 UAF instead of a 900 because of missing 100 ranks of brawling. But when you're hitting a 600 defense, your multiplier for the wizard is 1.16 whereas the multiplier for the doubler is 1.5. While not insignificant, it's most certainly viable.

Aluvius
06-06-2013, 01:34 PM
Was it ever confirmed that coraesine would work with UAC anyway or that we could even make UAC weapons (the bladed ones)? I asked but I don't think I ever got a reply. Also would it bond to you through UAC or would you need to swing it like a regular AS brawling attack to get it to bond. Which would be annoying but I guess doable at least.

Slit-eye
06-06-2013, 01:38 PM
The first wasn't confirmed, so the second would be speculation at best. You'd have to ask in the officials I would wager - but since they said it had to be a bladed weapon "because the messaging wouldn't make sense otherwise", I'm guessing a bladed brawling weapon would be perfectly acceptable. It seems the reasoning for it isn't mechanical in nature.

>>1. Are these Ironwright offerings going to be triflare, or duoflare like EG?
>>2. Is this a minor or major service?
>>3. Will the offerings be the same as previous Ironwright: fire, ice, lightning, vibe, plasma, acid, airbolt, web, disrupt, disintegrate?
>>4. On current Ironwright weapons I've seen, the bless needs to wear off in order to switch your flare. Ironwright said at EG that this wasn't necessary for sancted weapons and you could switch them at will. Is this the same for permabless weapons? Does it matter if the weapon becomes sancted/permabless after obtaining Ironwright's service?

1. These weapons will have 12 flare types unlocked.
2. Minor.
3. Fire, Cold, Electrical, Impact, Acid, Void, Plasma, Disintergrate, Disruption, Unbalance, Web, Airbolt
4. Permabless is not compatible with the Ironwright script because it uses the same fields as the script. In terms of getting sancted or permabless AFTER the flares are added, both sanctifying and permablessing services in the past have disallowed combat scripts, making the item ineligible for either service. (Not to mention that it would break the item to make it Permablessed).

I'll look at the script again to find out about how it works with sanctified weapons.

Correct, there will be no buying/selling/trading of rune tattoos. You win, you get inked.

>>Is there a list of merchant names?
https://www.play.net/gs4/news.asp?id=1191
Scroll down to the bottom for a section titled "Merchants" and start highlighting!

>>Will a character who wins a service by raffle or spinner be permitted to sell the service to another character in attendance?
This largely depends on the service in question. For some things like coraesine, or rune tattoos, it will be performed for the winner and no other. My personal opinion is to be quick about it, as I don't want to wait a few hours for someone to negotiate the sale of their service and then come back to me. I want to get the services done, clear and away, with no hunting people down after the fact. I'll probably put a 10 minute limit or something similar on my services.

>>Any info on enhancive weapons service?
Could you provide more information or further clarify your question, please?

There are a handful of pre-made enhancive weapons that will be distributed at each run.

>4. Not true about the no combat scripts. Returners have been eligible for permablessing and several have been made into permablessed returners.

But this is a scripted flare. Most scripted flares, in order to flare, take up the flare/bless/weighting/sighting/defender/permabless/padding slot. Returners are scripted, but they are not scripted flares. This particular item would break if permablessed, because the weapon can't say that it both wants to flare AND to be permablessed at the same time.

A GM who requests to give out a permablessing service might have different restrictions placed on the service depending on a number of factors, including nonexclusively the event, the instance, the number given out, and even the identity, experience, and coding status of the GM. While it might be mechanically possible to add permablessing to some combat-scripted weapons, the GM might not always have permission to do so. Because of the nature of this event, permablessing is allowed on certain approved combat-scripted weapons -- but not on scripts that would conflict, like the switchable blessed flares at issue. However, this permission is quite rare and most permablessing services disallow combat scripts. That's one of the draws of this event--the possibility of going above and beyond what's normally available.

~Vanah

Note for the TLDR crowd, GMs are going to want you to wrap up any item that CAN be given to another within 10 minutes of the win.

I deleted my previous post because the URLs didn't work correctly... had to add a space between the end of the URL and the punctuation.

Details regarding Blink Weapon and Splitting Weapon being released during this year's RtCF event:

1. They're both considered MAJOR services. The service price will be based on the enchant of the weapon to which the script(s) are added/unlocked. No additional services will be included... this is a script adding/unlocking service ONLY.
2. There will be a raffle table for each run for both services, and tickets will cost 5k.
-- The only method of release for these services during RtCF will be via raffle.
-- If you buy a ticket for one of these raffles and you WIN, you cannot win another MAJOR service during this run.
-- Raffle tables will be in place after 12:01am PT (3:01am ET) Sunday morning, ending at 5:01pm PT (8:01pm ET) on Sunday afternoon for each run (Raffle table locations will be posted to the forums (in this topic and in this thread:http://forums.play.net/forums/GemStone%20IV/Quests%60Sagas%60Events/Returning%20to%20Coraesine%20Field/view/1350 (http://forums.play.net/forums/GemStone%20IV/Quests%60Sagas%60Events/Returning%20to%20Coraesine%20Field/view/1350)) once the tables have been placed ingame). Winners will be expected to be available within thirty minutes of game staff contact with regard to their win for Blink/Split raffles, else they will forfeit their win. Winners will be contacted both ingame (via a SEND) and via email to the winning character's account (GS4-EMERADAN@PLAY.NET, for example)... so make sure your play.net email forwarding is turned on (https://www.play.net/gs4/account/change_email.asp (https://www.play.net/gs4/account/change_email.asp))!
-- Winners will begin to receive contact via SEND and via email after 6pm PT (9pm ET). The thirty minute time frame for responding still applies. Hopefully the hour's notice after the raffles end will help the winners get their "ducks in a row", as it were, so that we can get these wins redeemed in a timely manner. Pretend you're at a bar... consider those contacts as "Last Call."
-- Any winners that have not replied either via REPORT or via email after 9pm PT (12am ET) will forfeit their win. Pretend you're at a bar... this is "Closing Time."
-- Raffle winners will be responsible for the entire service price based on the already posted chart (http://forums.play.net/forums/GemStone%20IV/Quests%60Sagas%60Events/Returning%20to%20Coraesine%20Field/view/1207 (http://forums.play.net/forums/GemStone%20IV/Quests%60Sagas%60Events/Returning%20to%20Coraesine%20Field/view/1207)), less the ticket cost and plus a 10% surcharge based on the current assessed value of the item being worked on.

Details regarding the services themselves:
1. Blink abilities will be added to 3 unscripted weapons during each run.
-- Weapons eligible for this service currently do not include Ranged, UAC, or Runestaves.
2. Splitting abilities will be available to 5 weapons.
-- If the weapon is already a splitter, then it can be fully unlocked, thus enabling the split halves to retain their full enchant. For clarity, weapons eligible for a full unlocking will be those already present in the game that are locked.
-- If the weapon is not already a splitter, then it can be converted to a locked splitter (which halves the weapon's enchant when split), obviously requiring a future unlocking of the "full enchant while split" ability. For clarity, weapons eligible for this will be those that are currently unscripted in any fashion.
-- The weapon in question should make sense for being a splitter (the bigger, the better... a splitting blackjack doesn't really make sense, etc... but I suppose if that's what you really want... <WEG>).

This info replaces any previously posted info regarding Blinks and Splitters for RtCF 2013.

~ Self-charging Idols ~
Magical fetishes possessed of a chaotic spirit
and which can be used while out of charges

Each of these idols contains a harnessed arcane entity... a spirit. This spirit
begins recharging the device whenever its charges are less than maximum. If the
device is used after all its charges have been exhausted, the spirit will not be
pleased. A displeased spirit is apt to lash out at the source of its agitation
and do so with a degree of vengeance based on the amount of time it has left to
restore a charge -- the greater the time remaining, the greater the vengeance.
Once a charge is restored, the spirit's wrath will be quelled.

Idol Spell Charges Recharge Time
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Large-headed golden idol Prayer of Protection 22 1 charge / 3 hrs.
Horned red garnet idol Prismatic Guard 20 1 charge / 4 hrs.
Goat-headed marble idol Spirit Warding II 18 1 charge / 5 hrs.
Plump bronze moon-faced idol Mindward 17 1 charge / 5 hrs.
Ruby-eyed crystal idol Strength 16 1 charge / 6 hrs.
Black leather-winged idol Mystic Focus 14 1 charge / 7 hrs.
Madly grinning ivory idol Bravery 14 1 charge / 7 hrs.
Bulbous-eyed jade idol Mass Colors 14 1 charge / 7 hrs.
Vacant-eyed obsidian idol Elemental Defense III 11 1 charge / 8 hrs.
Black-hooded red-eyed idol Melgorehn's Aura 12 1 charge / 8 hrs.

Here's a cast of 405 on one of the idols, right after I used it (for the first time):

You gesture at a horned red garnet idol.
You sense that the red garnet idol is a magic item that contains the Prismatic Guard spell. It has a total of 20 charges when fully charged. It recharges a single use roughly every 240 minutes. The red garnet idol has 14340 seconds (0 hours, 239 minutes, 0 seconds) remaining of 14400 before it can be used safely.

That sort of seems to imply that something might happen unless it's totally full? Or maybe it has to recharge once before it's safe to use (so you could risk it with multiple uses, but then wait for one recharge). I dunno. Slightly ambiguous.

Hey so is this the [I actually can't think of an appropriate word to describe how bad this thing is] of a Dhyne script that ruined it for everybody?

With an ear-piercing shriek, a ghostly leviathan appears from behind Deadwind and wraps itself around his exoskeleton ribcage and torso in a protective stance. It gazes around the area looking for any signs of threat, displaying a row of razor-sharp fangs in its open maw. Sensing no danger, it begins to fade away into a misty ether and eventually all that is left is a pair of watchful eyes that wink out of existence.

Hey guys!

I'm working on the shop list and as part of that, I need to ask for some help. The feature alter shop Exposed has a bunch of options for distinguishing marks and skin color that change depending on a person's race and/or gender. Obviously, I can't check these myself, so I'm going to have to ask for help. If you're at the festival and have a couple moments to spare, please head to Exposed (the north side of the Oculus, in the pavilion) and read the sign in the rooms for distinguishing marks and skin. Then send me clips of what you get along with your race and gender.

I've already got info for female sylvans, male aelotoi, female dark elves, female humans, male dark elves, female elves and male elves.

Thank you!

Pro tip: You don't need to bless them first. Once one of the UndeadBane Oils has been successfully applied your item will hit undead with or without a bless, just like with other UndeadBane items. However, if you bless your item first, or it is naturally holy, you can expect the oil to last longer!

>> <runs away faster than Wyrom's fireballs can travel> <<

I think you vastly underestimate the speed of Wyrom's fireballs. Also, what about my balls? Of fire, I mean!

>> Confused. The bane oils can be applied only to unweighted/unflared etc items? Something normally able to be blessed yes? No 5x fire flaring wizgidgets? And if I blessed something first and applied it just works better? How would this work with Runestaves for example? <<

Right, unlike normal UndeadBane, or any CreatureBane really, these oils DO NOT work on items that are already flared/padded/weighted or otherwise use up that special ability slot. I did not write the script, but I can only assume the reasoning for that is because it would make them too powerful for off-the-shelf unlimited sale. Like all other UndeadBane, however, the oils WILL allow a non-blessed/non-holy weapon to hit undead.

The flaring oil types being sold at this event will last for 30 successful strikes and the critical and damage weighting/padding ones will last for 10 successful strikes. When applied to weapons, a successful strike means you hitting something else with your weapon. When applied to armor this means when you are struck by something else. If applied to blessed, or naturally holy, items the number of strikes it will last before fading increases. Naturally holy weapons will see the greatest increase, followed by holy water blesses, followed by normal blesses. And then Purify comes into play.

As far as runestaffs are concerned, they will technically work, but only when you actually hit something with your runestaff.

GM Reidyn - MHO Guru

.

And in case I didn't make this clear before, you CAN apply these oils to the Tier 1 Voln Armor sold in the shop. Meaning a member of the Order of Voln could get a set of 4x armor with +20 DS flares against undead with temporary heavy padding against undead, all with off-the-shelf items.

GM Reidyn - MHO Guru

Even more on bane oils.

Naturally holy items have a 2.5x modifier, holy water blesses have a 2x modifier, and normal blesses have a 1.5x modifier. And then everything from Purify gets calculated if, in fact, the item has been Purified.

Fully unlocked Adventure Clothing set. Here are the scripts that I found with zesttest while wearing a complete set:

COAT:
>rub coat
You brush at the front of your white suede coat in a futile effort to clean a few soiled spots. After a few moments you admit defeat. Some dirt adds character anyway, right?

>poke coat
Casually, you pick at a few small tears in the sleeve of your white suede coat. Sticking your finger through a hole, you try in vain to remember the cause.

>push coat
You tug at the sleeves of your white suede coat, pulling them down to the cuffs of your moire shirt.

>pull coat
You roll up the sleeves of your white suede coat, but succeed in only wrinkling the cloth before they fall back into place several moments later.

>turn coat
You reach up and casually flip up the collar of your white suede coat. That's just to keep the rain off your neck, right?

>raise coat
You deftly remove your white suede coat and give it a good shake, knocking dust from its surface before you don it again, pulling it snug about your shoulders.

>remove coat
You shrug your way out of your white suede coat and give it a good shake sending a small cloud of dust up into the air.

>wear coat
Lifting an arm into the air, you swing your white suede coat around and slide each arm easily onto either sleeve before it comes to rest comfortably on your shoulders over your moire shirt.

WAISTCHAIN/BELT:
>rub waistchain
You drum your fingers along the edge of your silver waistchain.

>poke waistchain
You jab your fingers in behind your silver waistchain a few times, tucking in a few loose folds of your moire shirt.

>push waistchain
Push your silver waistchain down a bit, settling it lower on the hips of your white suede pants.

>pull waistchain
You tug on your silver waistchain, pulling it up a bit further on your hips.

>turn waistchain
You give your silver waistchain a tug to adjust the fit, causing the white souvenir sack attached to it to swing to and fro for a few moments.

>raise waistchain
You unfasten your silver waistchain for a moment, adjusting the fit about your waistline before securing it again in place.

>remove waistchain
You unfasten your silver waistchain and slide it off of your waist in one fluid motion.

>wear waistchain
You flick your silver waistchain around your waist with a quick motion and catch the end as it swings about your body. You deftly buckle it into place, settling it about your hips.

SHIRT:
>rub shirt
You brush the back of your fingers against the front of your moire shirt, attempting to clean it a bit. The process is not very effective.

>poke shirt
You poke at the tails of your moire shirt, tucking them into your white suede pants.

>push shirt
You run your hands down the front of your moire shirt, trying in vain to work out the wrinkles. Oh well.

>pull shirt
You tug at the collar of your moire shirt while craning your neck to the side. Ah, that's better.

>turn shirt
You fold the cuffs of your moire shirt back up and over the ends of your white suede coat sleeves. Pretending to be fashionable are we?

>remove shirt
You slowly unbutton the cuffs and then the front of your moire shirt and slide it back off your arms. You give it a final shake in a vain attempt to work out the wrinkles.

>wear shirt
You slide your arms down each sleeve and slowly button up the front of your moire shirt, followed by either cufflink.

PANTS:
>rub pants
You wipe your hands on the front of your white suede pants. There, that's better.

>push pants
You hook your thumbs casually into the silver waistchain of your white suede pants, watching your surroundings impassively.

>pull pants
You tug at your white suede pants, attempting to get them to wear more comfortably.

>turn pants
Grasping your silver waistchain with both hands, you shift the fit of your white suede pants to and fro on your hips, attempting to get comfortable.

>raise pants
You lift a knee up into the air for a moment, and then another, stretching your legs a bit. Time to get loose!

>remove pants
You glance over your shoulder before unfastening your white suede pants and stepping out of each leg. Brrr, chilly!

>wear pants
You give the white suede pants a good shake to clear off any dust before stepping into either leg and tugging them securely about your waist.

BOOTS:
>rub boots
You lean over slightly and spit right on each toe of your boots! You then rub your boots on the back of your white suede pants, giving them a good shine. Much better!

>poke boots
Using the bottom of one of your alabaster suede boots, you rub it against the other attempting to clean it off. Looking over your work, it doesn't appear to have been very effective.

>push boots
You shuffle your feet along the ground, attempting to clean off the bottom of your alabaster suede boots.

>pull boots
You reach down and pull at the buckles of your boots in an attempt to tighten the fit.

>turn boots
Planting your alabaster suede boots firmly on the ground, you turn sharply in place, your white suede coat flaring out behind you!

>raise boots
You raise one of your alabaster suede boots high into the air and bring it crashing down to the solid ground. Doesn't make dent.

>remove boots
You slam the heels of your alabaster suede boots down against the ground a few times to loosen them before kicking them off. You quickly reach down to retrieve them, hitting them together a few times to clean off remaining dust and dirt.

>wear boots
You reach down and step into your alabaster suede boots before tugging at the laces, tightening the fit.

HARNESS:
>rub harness
You rub your hands along the straps of your leather harness ensuring that your moire shirt doesn't tangle in them.

>poke harness
Reaching beneath your white suede coat, you pat down your leather harness and check the buckles and straps assuring yourself that it is secured in place.

>push harness
You hook your thumbs beneath the straps of your leather harness and casually take in your current situation.

>pull harness
You throw your weight forward a bit and tug on the straps of your leather harness, pulling it snug about your torso.

>turn harness
You subtly reach beneath your white suede coat and loosen a strap on your leather harness, your body tense and ready for action.

>raise harness
You raise your arms up over your head, causing the straps of your leather harness to wrinkle your moire shirt.

>remove harness
You carefully unbuckle the straps of your leather harness and shrug your way out of the overlapping straps.

>wear harness
Slipping your arms through various straps, you wrap your leather harness about your torso, securing it in place.

HOOD:
>rub hood
You run a hand beneath your veniom-threaded hood, tracing your fingers through your short black hair.

>poke hood
You narrow your dark eyes and straighten your veniom-threaded hood in a huff.

>push hood
You push up slightly on the edge of your veniom-threaded hood, getting a better view of your surroundings.

>pull hood
You tug the edge of your veniom-threaded hood down further over your face, shading your dark eyes.

>turn hood
You shake your head back and forth beneath your veniom-threaded hood and roll your shoulders underneath the folds of your white suede coat. Gotta get those muscles loose!

>raise hood
With both hands, you reach up and raise the edge of your veniom-threaded hood, giving it a good shake before settling it back on your head.

>remove hood
You reach up and slide your veniom-threaded hood from off of your head.

>wear hood
You slip your veniom-threaded hood up over your head and pull the edge down, shrouding much of your face.

Hey everyone, due to some controversy... the quest at RtCF will be changing slightly, which will add another step to the mini task list. The extra step will hopefully tie in a little more meaning to the attunement process. The changes won't be live until Platinum's run in July. Figuring this additional step shouldn't be too much harder for anyone who completed the quest without a walkthrough or help.

~Wyrom, SGM

The quest is very easy, so don't stress out about it. Feel free to PM for any spoilers or what not.

Fallen

Will-o'-wisps now have some functions to find other characters in the same room as you and whorl around them. If that person happens to have a will-o'-wisp, you might see...

>>Wyrom's scarlet will-o'-wisp merrily hovers over to your hunter green will-o'-wisp and the two whorl around each other. Shortly after, Wyrom's will-o'-wisp hovers over to his shoulder.

This function is for fully attuned wisps that are on your shoulder.

Also, if you happen to have two will-o'-wisps and ATTEND one of them in hand, you will have a random chance that the two will interact with each other.

>>You glance down to see a small scarlet will-o'-wisp in your right hand and a small hunter green will-o'-wisp in your left hand.

>>You toss both a small scarlet will-o'-wisp and a small hunter green will-o'-wisp into the air, and the two of them spiral around each other like binary stars. The will-o'-wisps continue to dance around each other before they both flit back down into your hands.

>>Wyrom tosses both a small scarlet will-o'-wisp and a small hunter green will-o'-wisp into the air, and the two of them spiral around each other like binary stars. The will-o'-wisps continue to dance around each other before they both flit back down into his hands.

Both of these functions are random, and might not happen often.

Remember, if you wish to attend a Lite run and a Full run, take different characters, as the quest will prevent you from completing it twice. If you don't have a second character, but really wish to get two wisps, email me, we'll work something out when you attend your second event.

I never considered having more than one, but the newest post by Wyrom seems to suggest that it is possible to bond to multiple ones.

That's interesting. So, can we complete the quest more than once, then? Or do we have to acquire them by other means? It seems they are transferable, at least.

darkcipher

I'm going to go with "other means", since Wyrom stated that if you signed up for the Lite version you could not complete the quest with the same character you used in the Full RtCF.

As soon as it hits your hand, from my own experience, you will need a remove curse to be able to store it.

Moving about the forest with great finesse, a leaf-enswathed dryad can be seen, running her twig-like fingers along the surface of the trees.

Returning to Coraesine Field: Free Ticket Reminder, Transfers, and Trial Accounts on 06/29/2013 04:23 PM EDT

With the second batch of tickets in Prime about to go up for sale, this is a reminder that anyone who has a free ticket for the event should NOT buy a ticket. Doing so will void your free ticket. And then I will re-release it right away, no questions asked.

Transferring a character that has already gone to RtCF to another account will still make that character ineligible for any services, so do not take the same character twice.

Trial accounts (and level 0 characters) cannot win most services at RtCF, so it would be wise to not attend with a trial account. You can shop and do the quest at Lite though as a trial account.

So now I get fucked cause a friend helped me out so I could try for an impure coraesine.. when I was planning to buy a pure one, but couldn't cause a RL friend was going this first run and I didn't want to bid against them.

I wouldn't have moved Jarvan, thereby letting me try again for a ticket, and get the item I want, now I can't even try. The ONLY reason to prohibit same chars from returning is the Quest (who gives a fuck) and the attuned items.

Ok, Maybe they dont want someone to go to all three and have 3 pure Coraesine weapons.. then again, who would even do that? Doesn't say you can't move a diff guy from that account and get it, just the SAME char can't get items at a second run. So only attuned and char bound things matter in that case.

Typical Simu fucking bullshit.

Not to mention announcing it at the last minute.

Honestly it's the same thing as Viril going with 3 or 4 chars, same with Fluers. Ultimately, it's the same freakin thing. Saying one is worse then the other is ridiculous.

And actually, Wyrom said a Char CAN go twice, they just don't want to give the person a second Major.

So I have a question, if you hit the 70point max for armor at RtCF, can you still use PP at a later date to pad it? Or across the board you can never go past the 70 points rule? I'm trying to figure out what to do with my armor and my choices are now apparently limited.

I seriously doubt they will let you use PP to pad armor that is already at their 70 point threshold. Tho that isn't a set in stone number, as I know there were some 10x MCP armors out there in the past. And those would have been 90 points technically.

The 70 point item value limit is not across the board.

It's for that specific service and this event. Period.

OTHER events and services might also use 70, or higher, or lower, but it's not an across the board, ever service and every event and doesn't include Premium Point use.
