I am trying to find out the value of my premium points. Have been away from the lands for a while and on coming back saw that I had that many points. 5.6 years to be exact. I want to sell the points I will only take serious offers. From what I have been able to gather on LNET is that they are worth around 7.5 to 10k a point. I want to sell them as a group but will consider offers. Again only serious offers. Starting Bid is 50m will not even consider anything under that. So please if you want let me know. I will also consider trades. I am a rogue...so I want something that a one handed ambusher would use...will consider anything prefer 7x or higher...if lower it better have really good crit weighting or something. Already have an extremely rare 5x fel hafter max crit weight...Also looking for a shield...Armor also...So if your interested let me know.

Hey everyone...I have no problem at all with you alls messages. Ihave been out of the lands awhile like I said..and I did not even know premium points were worth this. I have no problem coming up with collaterall....Like I said I have some extremely rare stuff....or stuff with very personalized double alterations (when you look at someone then a show when I show it to them....I will list some of them so yall can see what I would be give in return for trust. I do not scam. I have been around along time..Also if need be I will have a gm be a third party witness I am not out to scam anyone or give myself a bad name. I will list a few things that I hold dear to me...and if you like you can hold them...So I have no problem making sure we can make it work.

My Items you can hold if you need to.

some fingerless black leather gloves - Two small pockets.
SHOW IS - Crafted of supple leather, these gloves are short and are designed to barely come to the edge of the wrist. Thick strips of hard leather are sewn into the palm with thin silver threads for reinforcement. The same sturdy silver threads bind the raw edges of the fingerholes and keeps them from fraying. Slender silver buckles, stamped with sigils, form a simple clasp at the back of the hand.

One of my Favorite Items:
razern-edged ashen lockpick case - Holds many many picks extra weight holding
SHOW IS - This small case, crafted from a dark ashen metal, has been masterfully edged with shimmering blue-streaked razern. Small runes, barely visible at a glance, have been lightly etched across the top of the case, appearing and vanishing as light catches their outline. The case is glossy and smooth all around, except for a small, strangely-cut keyhole on the front panel.

My Weapon Harness Very Nice I think:
supple dark leather weapon harness-
SHOW IS - Padded with ebon felt, this ashen harness has scales double-stitched in charcoal grey thread. A buckle over the shoulder is set with a sapphire to form an eye, the chest strap below forming a long, slender snout, the flaps on the back gleaming with the faint blue and violet sheen of wing membranes. The abdomen strap buckle depicts interlocking talons, while an extra strap beneath resembles a spiked tail, completing the stylized dragon.

My Armor Fantastic Alteration in my mind anyways -
some glazed ebon-on-black brigandine -
SHOW IS - Crafted for comfort as well as protection, the armor has a rich, pure black color. Fine lines of ebon enamel appear almost magically as the light shifts over the brigandine, forming an incredibly detailed dragon spread over the torso. Leather wings array down the left arm, and the head of a dragon turns to gaze out from deep sapphire eyes. One forepaw clinging to the shoulder and its hind legs stretch back and fasten at the hips with talons so realistic, its tail coiling tightly around the leg. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph. 4x brig

As you can tell the past two items have been Dragon themed...think they were very nicely done..

My Cloak -
deeply hooded ash grey woolen cloak
SHOW IS - A delicate transition from stormy grey to charcoal darkness makes the cloak resemble billowing clouds of soot. Tightly-woven of high quality wool, the cloak provides comfort without sacrificing function. Matte silk thread is stitched irregularly about the cloak's hems. A braided ebon cord forms a simple knot at the wearer's throat, securely fastening the cloak snugly into place.

Now the Big money Item - Well a set actually...Two weapons...altered to be a pair. Both heavy crit weighting. Rare 5x Felhafter with I think max weighting. A Dagger to match with weighting.

Weapon Number 1- My Baby
suede-wrapped fel hafted waraxe 5x Heavy Crit Weighting
SHOW IS - Slender strips of sun-bleached suede are worked into a tightly braided weave around the long fel haft of this waraxe. The wide blade of the axe is razor sharp, its wide body acid-etched with sinuous patterns of interwoven sigils that dance across the shiny surface towards the ingots that bind it to the haft. Deep carvings spiral around the fel haft and are filled with an ashen dye that has been varnished over to provide the haft a weather tight seal. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Matching Weapon - Weighted Dagger for ambushing
suede-wrapped vultite dagger - 4x crit weighting
SHOW IS - Slender strips of sun-bleached suede are worked into a tightly braided weave around the hilt of this dagger. The narrow blade of the dagger is razor sharp, its length acid-etched with sinuous patterns of interwoven sigils that dance across the shiny surface. Deep carvings, filled with a ashen dye, spiral around the fel knob that serves as a pommel.


Ask you can tell every item I linked has a basic alteration when you look at my character and a show when I show it to you. These are personal items that I spent a long time in coming across and many different airshows and so on. I just want to trade the 6200 points MB is 50Mil to someone who will get more use out of it. Again I will take a trade....So let me know if interested or whatelse I need to do.

Will also consider real money but its going to be the going rate...and its expensive..So hope to hear back soon.

Berean, you need to sell your PPs as one auction, and each of your items that are worth 100k+ in their own auction.. or just do a big auction thread, but do it right. List key item specs in thread description, etc. You need the maximum exposure for your items. Also now is a bad time to sell with CCF coming.

Someone trusted like Buckwheet or Briarfox can help, they are good merchants and also in the cool club. (in case you need someone trusted to oversee your sale)

I think Berean is well intentioned, just with a few things going against him. New account on here, being relatively unknown, and a little nieve.

He probably kept to himself or played with others who have not been around for awhile. There are a few people who play the game and don't really interact with others.

Berean asked for a bard last night on Lnet. He claimed to have about 200m in assets. I can confirm he has a +17 imflass double chain (had been enchanted by a Sildam or a name like that - was blackened, looked like a failed project), +22 fireleaf medium buckler, 5x wall shield, 7x tower shield, 5x handaxe with weighting, and two items with interesting loresongs. (A ring and an orb). He didn't ask me to sing to anything else with significant value.

Many of the items he presented to me were old enough that they have odd looking inspect/analyze and songs. I am no expert so he should probably get anything rare re-evaluated.

The glaesine orb was given as a gift for some quest or event a number of years ago. It switches shows and constellations when you rub it, or whatever the activator is. Nice piece of fluff, but I think they can only be used by the original owner.

I have discovered by your replies that a gm overseeing anything will not be possible. I just want to make a good deal with someone. I don't want to be scammed. I don't want to scam anyone. I have not invested *Let's just go with Premium points alone on this account* 5.6 years worth of points to just have my name burn. I love this game and I have always came back to it and hope it is always around. Berean, here is what I would suggest and it WILL cut into your profits a little but it could possible return a higher price. It also depends on a couple factors. I have done this before and it has worked out just fine.

1. Transfer your character(s) to a new account.
2. Give control of your account with PPs to someone that has a good strong reputation.
3. Third party will update your security question and answer, and change the password and then do the PP transaction.
4. Once the transaction is complete the trusted third party gives you the new password or changes it back and then you change the security question/answer to something new.

So the primary issue is the transfer character price if you have a lot of characters that you want to play during the time period that the PP process takes. Sometimes it can be a few days, other times it can be a month. Not so bad if you only have one character, but could be cost prohibitive if you want to play many.

If you don't care about not having your account name and only have one character, you could just transfer the character to a new account and then do a account takeover to the buyer so that they can turn in their project when they want. This also means you could possibly get a higher price if that person wants to pay for premium and just wants to use your account as a nice base to get to say 7500 points or something.

I would say that if you have a 52m bid, count it down and take it. That is a very good price for you. No point in further complicating things if you have a bid. I've never paid more than 7000 per point, and you're already north of there.

Buckwheet's process seems like a long process. Why I put myself out like this I'm not sure, but I'll escrow the money if the buyer/seller need a 3rd party, nothing in it for me, just to get it done. If silvers I'll put it on a mule, if money I'll keep it in PayPal.

It is a long process. But short of someone doing what you are offering to do, its the only way to keep it risk free for a buyer from an untrusted seller. If you take cash through paypal with the option of holding it, you are at risk of the buyer doing a charge back and you would get stuck holding the bill. I just don't like opening myself up to that risk level. But more power to ya! In your example the untrusted seller still gets to turn in a potentially expensive item or keep it and log out. The buyer would get their money back but still be left missing their item.

In my example its roughly 24 hours each side of the character transfer, and the buyer gets the account to submit their own item. If the costs are prohibitive(since it IS premium) and the seller is worried about someone taking characters/items off their account that is where a trusted third party comes into play. They make sure the seller doesn't have items stolen, and they also ensure the buyer the item is submitted, AND they aren't holding anyone's cash that is subject to a charge back.

If there is a charge back it happens from the buyer to the seller directly. All the third party person ensures is that the points and the expensive items are used in accordance to the agreement. From the tone of the posts here it was the seller's trust that was in question when handing over say 100m item. The only way to introduce trust then is from the seller's side, which would require a trusted third party.

They make sure the seller doesn't have items stolen, and they also insure the buyer the item is submitted, AND they aren't holding anyone's cash that is subject to a charge back.

If there is a charge back it happens from the buyer to the seller directly. All the third party person ensures is that the points and the expensive items are used in accordance to the agreement.

If they use a credit card there is almost no way to prevent a charge back, even if they use Gift. It shows on some credit cards as "cash advance" and they can just say they did not authorize that. If they dispute through Paypal with a Gift payment then Paypal will close the case. Its if or when they go directly to the CC that it can cause a problem.

And by all means I am not saying people can't or shouldn't go out on a limb for someone. I am just explaining why doing a temporary account transfer is a secure option if the circumstances are right for the buyer, not the seller. The seller can still face a chargeback.

It is slightly disconcerning that the names listed in the original post as "vouchers" have little if any internet history, posting history here, or much presence in Elanthia as a whole. By the way, Fel hafters were always heavily weighted, so how you've come to the conclusion that yours is extra weighted is beyond me. At this point, the only way I would be buying these points would be if he moved his character to another account, made this an account takeover and had a middleman who held the silvers until the work was actually done. But then again I tend to be over cautious. 50m silvers is a nice chunk of change.

When people were bidding on this auction of yours silvers weren't worth 10 dollars a million. That is a very recent thing. This is why people state how much they are willing to exchange silvers for when they start an auction and why they don't usually let it last 3 weeks.

They have, and even for a massive Premium Point bid being run by a very new poster, they have not spoken well. Inconsistant prices and auction rules, misleading comments, shady guarantees, flip-flopping between buyers and ignoring higher bids, and dragging out this auction for an incredibly long time. Even if you are 100% trustworthy, you do not seem to be 100% competant, and at this point, I would not feel comfortable trusting you to handle a purchase of this magnitude, for all I know, you might screw up the premium point purchase and still demand I pay you.

Also, saying "just trust me and you will see" gives no credit whatsoever. Anyone can say that the moment before they rip you off for half a grand.

You have been pretty shady in this deal already, and between flip-floping between buyers and dragging this out way to long, you have inconvenienced buyers who basically admitted they were making this purchase partly because you were in a tough situation and no one else would do it. Your "chance" was a week ago. Luft backing out shouldn't have set you back this much, and I sure as hell don't blame him for it.

First off, learn to multiquote. Six consecutive posts to different posters . . . in a half hour too.

Also, we get it. You refuse to accept responsibility, and want to blame Luft. Is Luft at fault for backing out? I don't know, maybe. I also think this is a pretty crappy auction and think its pretty fair to do so. You have handled this situation in a very unprofessional manner. A few days delay doesn't change that fact. A slight delay due to Luft is hardly the only issue in question here.

We also don't need to know "who you are" to know that this was a very poorly run auction and you respond to constructive criticism in a very hostile fashion.
