So, I'm going to go to the consignment shop sometime this week to sell this belt (http://oi46.tinypic.com/nz15zp.jpg), but I don't know anything about men's belts, or Versace.
Does anyone have any idea how much I can realistically ask for?
I've done some research, but I can't find this specific belt. Ones that are similar run from as low as $25-50 to somewhere in the $250-300 range. I don't know much about the belt because it isn't mine, but I've tried to contact the owner for 3 months, via phone, Skype, and messaging. I offered to mail it back, etc.
At this point, it's taking up space and it may have some value so it is going to be sold, I was hoping that one of you all may have an idea about cost.

Is there some bizarro world where you dictate the price to a consignment store? They'll tell you what they list it at, not the other way around, bro.

Every time I've consigned something they asked what I thought it was worth. idk. Plus, if it is worth more and the consignment shop wont do it, I could put it on ebay.

It will vary based on establishment but generally is 1/4 to 1/3 the original retail price. Your best hope is the consignment shop you sell it at will have a solid idea what it retails for.
Based on what I've seen you are looking at a $40 belt, max. So, $10-15 is what they'd probably charge.

Brawrrr. Thanks. I was hoping I'd be more the way the dude talked about his goddamn belt when he was here.
Such a snob about it.

Failures so far:
1. Some dude you had over bragged about a belt.
2. He left it there- presumably the belt wasn't the only thing he removed.
3. This BELT is taking up too much space.
4. You're gonna get back at him by hawking it.
5. You need $15.
6. You made this thread.
Anything missing?

I don't own any Versace because I'm not a fucking metro, but if I ever decide to pretend to be, this belt could be helpful. I'll give you $15 to mail it to me.

Things that happened so far:
1. Some dude you had over bragged about a belt. - check
2. He left it there- presumably the belt wasn't the only thing he removed. - check, we banged.
3. This BELT is taking up too much space. - Why would I want to keep some dudes belt?
4. You're gonna get back at him by hawking it. - I don't need to get back at him, I never wanted anything but sex from him.
5. You need $15. - I don't need anything, but having any extra money is always nice.
6. You made this thread. - Because I don't know the value of an item and I thought that perhaps someone here might know the value of the belt.
Anything missing?
Nope.

Tell him you'll ship it back to him for the cost of shipping...$35.00
That should cover it. ;)
