Other than it itching sometimes, and bunching up if you get sweaty and lean on something.

Far superior to taking a pill at the same time every day. Far, far, far superior.

Certainly, but what is it? It sounds like an article of clothing, but the pill reference confuses me. Unless... but I wouldn't expect something like that to be posted so... explicitly.

It turns out explicit doesn't mean what I thought it did. :( So nm the last word of my previous post plz.

I actually used it for about a year... But I really didn't like it. It would get itchy, and leave redness, and was HORRIBLE for tanning. Not to mention, I would have them fall off once in a while.

I also gained weight. I think I prefer the good old fashion pill.. But I am thinking about getting that seasonal shot. 4 periods a year. Yeepee!

For those of you who are still clueless, it's a patch. Think like the Nicoderm or whatever patches to quit smoking, about the same size (I think) and you wear em like on your chest, above your butt or on your hip. (I also think) I had no desire in trying it because I am too afraid it would fall off. That injection thing sounds appealing though.

I thought you only had to wear the patch every two weeks or something for just a day?

Why not use othra depro (sp?) the shot?

You wear a patch all the time. You have to put a new one on at the beginning of every week. So if you start on Sunday, you have to rip that one off the following week and put a new one on. Or thats how it seemed from the commercials.

Weight gain, not getting your period is unhealthy.

I've always wondered what that thing on the side was. Applicator, duh. Thanks Maimara.
