a dark adamantine main gauche with an elaborate knotwork guard
3lbs, 1m, +27 enchantment, unbalancing flares
CB 35m - vprmn123 - SOLD

Evidently this adamantine stuff is da bomb, but since I don't use a weapon, I really couldn't say. So anyway, I don't know how to price this, so I picked a number higher than what I saw the +17 adamantine stuff selling for as a starting point. This can be used as a weapon, but I think it's meant as an off-hand weapon for a 2 weapon type. Here's a couple sample attacks so you can see whatever it is number crunchers can see from these things.

If you want to try it first and have some collateral, let me know. If anyone has some pricing guidance they'd like to offer via PM I'd appreciate that as well.

You swing a golvern hilted mithril dagger at a silverback orc!
AS: +221 vs DS: +149 with AvD: +15 + d100 roll: +51 = +138
... and hit for 4 points of damage!
Thrust slides along the back.
Cuts a nagging itch.
You swing a dark adamantine main gauche at a silverback orc!
AS: +227 vs DS: +149 with AvD: +20 + d100 roll: +100 = +198
... and hit for 21 points of damage!
Nice puncture to the abdomen, just missed vital organs!
Roundtime: 4 sec.

You swing a golvern hilted mithril dagger at a silverback orc!
AS: +221 vs DS: +150 with AvD: +15 + d100 roll: +12 = +98
A clean miss.
You swing a dark adamantine main gauche at a silverback orc!
AS: +227 vs DS: +150 with AvD: +20 + d100 roll: +88 = +185
... and hit for 19 points of damage!
Banged the silverback orc's right shin.
That'll raise a good welt.

** Your adamantine main gauche unleashes an invisible burst of force! **

... 25 points of damage!
Back strike. Opponent writhes in pain.
It is knocked to the ground!
The silverback orc is stunned!
Roundtime: 4 sec.

And an example of it disarming an attackers weapon

A mountain ogre swings a war mattock at you!
You easily parry the attack with your adamantine main gauche!
The mountain ogre's mattock bounces off of the incredibly hard surface of your adamantine main gauche and falls to the ground!

Does this disarm/shatter non-magic weapons too? Does it have the level 65 requirement?

It has the 65 requirement, but I don't know about the disarm/shatter bit, if you'd like to try it out send me a PM.

I would but my only twc'er is just 15. Thanks though.

It should have disarm flares for parries because that's an inherent ability of adamantine. Unless the unbalance flares took its spot and disarm flares are only for adamantine armor?

I don't believe it will flare from the off-hand for parries.

So it disarms, I'll check on whether it breaks anything and report back.

Per Tamuz's post below (and a ton of testing on my shield) it seems only adamantine armor has a chance to break (nonmagical) weapons hitting it.

Shields and weapons disarm only.

Adamantine shields will only disarm attackers.

Adamantine armor can disarm or shatter non-magical weapons.

Adamantine weapons can disarm on a successful parry.

As a neat tidbit, adamantine weapons are immune to these effects!

Was the gauche in the off hand with that disarm shown?

Yes, in the off-hand

It will also disarm if you are holding it in your right hand and it's the only weapon you have.

Haven't tested it holding a shield in your left or holding it in the right and holding a different weapon in the off hand. Let me know if that's relevant to you.
