You carefully pour a little bit from your white flask into the blue glass flask.
You carefully inspect your oak and haon flask.
You determine that you could wear the flask, attaching it to your belt. The flask appears to serve some purpose.

Do you find these or are they sold at events or what?

I've found several belt worn flasks before but whenever I try to pour a white flask in them it says I shouldn't mix the two even though the belt worn flask is empty. Is there some sort of secret to this I'm missing?

I have no clue when or where I obtained them and there is no secret.
All of these were new to my knowledge. I drank one sip to make sure it was LK and than was able to fill it back from a white flask I got at the pawn shop.

There is a specific type that works with LK only. The treasure found ones usually aren't good for it.

The treasure system only spits out a 'white flask' for LK items because of the script code. Everything else that is a 'container for liquids' doesn't work.

The ones Shim are selling are merchant off the shelf items.

Some crumble. Some just aren't refillable when they get empty (for whatever reason). Some, like the neckworn ones can be filled after being empty and don't crumbl.
