New stuff in OTF?

Been hunting OTF for a good while and this just happened

An Ithzir seer focuses her attention on a sturdy modwir box on the ground. The box rises into the air and begins circling the Ithzir seer, increasing in velocity with each revolution!
The thorny barrier surrounding you blocks the attack from the Ithzir seer!
Momentum carries a sturdy modwir box past you to land nearby.

Sorta like the Herald disc thing but just never seen it before

Its been around a while. There was a post of a cerebralite doing it just the other day, and Evarin chimed in saying it was just like the Seer's attack.

I've actually have had that happen to my paladin in Novemberish last year. Exact same attack, with a box. I didn't get to see the AS on that since I blocked it with my shield. I guess it's a very rare attack that they do.

Speaking of new stuff, I found a crystalline prism in otf last night. Anyone know what this is? Never seen one before. It's got some type of spell in it.

Casts Arcane Barrier. Really rare generic magic item.

Short answer is that it makes you 100% immune to low level spells, the "maximum" level of which is based on your magic item use or arcane symbols if found on a scroll. Since you probably need about 25 ranks to even use it in the first place, it would make you immune to any spell level 4 or under.

Funny, I had a seer turn their gaze on me last night and give me 20 seconds of hard roundtime. I've never had that happen before, it's always been 3. I did not even know the time could be variable and wondered if it was a new thing.

Probably a bad open roll. I've seen clips of that dealing high RT for years.
