For a pure, spikes are essentially no different than non-spikes, right? In terms of weight, maneuver hindrance, spell hindrance, impact on other armor features/slots, etc.

1.5M unless I'm mistaken.

I do believe you are correct. I am by no means a pure. I am a warrior. However I do know spike plate can get flairs or padding so I would assume the same here. The only penalties the spikes may cause would be with certain cm's maybe..
