A much prettier one was put out in a premie raffle recently, figured there might be some interest in this one.
a rusted iron spyglass - The spyglass is no bigger than a human forearm. Two steel bands wrap around the length of the instrument adding durability to the spyglass. A tinted glass lense is placed at the end of the tool to prevent a glare from giving any sort of reflection.
There appears to be something written on it.
>read my spyglass
Etched into the iron of the spyglass, it reads:
"Vahmyr."
>turn spy north
You peer north through your iron spyglass and slowly turn the eyepiece to focus it. You are able to see...
[Wehnimer's, Dragonsclaw Rd.]
Wagons and carts loaded with a variety of goods pass in all directions, from the center of the busy town to the west to the wharfs and piers along the Locksmehr River to the east. A number of militiamen head north towards the guardtowers and barracks. You also see a large wooden building with a wooden sign on it.
Obvious paths: north, east, south, west
Looking further you can also see...
[Wehnimer's, Dragonsclaw Rd.]
The large, deserted-looking shed to the east looks as if it once served as a stable or a workshop of some sort. Now it seems to be nothing more than a crumbling warehouse, and the sparse traffic flowing to the north and south seldom gives it a second look.
Obvious paths: north, south
>rub spyglass
You rub your iron spyglass with the edge of your sleeve, polishing away the dust and fingerprints.
Also belt worn
>wear spyglass
You attach a rusted iron spyglass to your belt.
