Hi!
I keep getting disconnected at random from GSIV.
Here's what I see as I get disconnected...
--- error: server_thread: Invalid argument
[lnet: connection lost]
[lnet: waiting 281 seconds before trying to reconnect...]
--- Lich: lnet has exited.
--- Lich: waggle has exited.
--- Lich: infomon has exited.
*
* Connection to the game has been lost. You will need to login again to continue playing.

Any and all help for a Lich no0b would be amazing.
Thanks,
m

Log on to GS via the website, without lich running, move a few rooms and such, log out.. Then log in again, this time with lich.

I did as you said, and am going to see from here. Thanks for the quick reply.

The suggestion to log in without Lich is for an issue where you get disconnected within the first few seconds of logging in. It doesn't matter if you move around or not when you log in without Lich. Stormfront just needs to sync its settings with the game server in a ridiculously long one line pseudo-xml string. This is a short term fix, as Stormfront will need to sync again when you change something. It's better to have Stormfront store settings locally.
Your error is probably caused by your internet connection, especially since both the game and lnet connections dropped at the same time.
The invalid argument error is cryptic, but basically means that Windows did not inform Lich that the connection was closed, and Lich continued to try to use the connection as if it was active.
The connection lost error is less cryptic, but it does point out that the connection to the lnet server failed before Lich decided to kill the lnet script.
