The sales clerk says, "You can BUY the deringo runestaff if you like. And don't think I haven't got my eye on you, Dark Elf."



You decide to purchase the deringo runestaff, and pay the sales clerk 15048 silvers.
The sales clerk picks up the deringo runestaff and checks to make sure it is in good condition. She says, "It's probably too good for you. Here."
She tosses the deringo runestaff to you.

That schmuck, if only I could smack him over the head with his used probably stolen runestaff.

In my recent roleplaying of Faent (which doesn't happen much anymore since, due to XXX, I'm mostly just back to powerhunt him while working on my philosophy paper) I've been trying to take him back to his original racist roots. The more friends you make in Gemstone, the harder it gets to make your character treat them like dicks. Basically, Faent has gotten soft. Or I've gotten soft. It's exceedingly difficult to succesfully pull off, but if you're not an elf and you interact with him, hopefully he'll treat you like the refuse you are. =)
