After some friendly advice and market analysis, I've decided to drop the price a bit. Let me know if interested!

Friendly advice gets you to drop the price huh?

Well then my friend, let me tell you about the wonders of being a good person AND a good businessman. You see a good person would sell this thing go for 15 million but a good businessman would let this thing go for 10 million because you could take those silvers that you get and invest them in something that will increase in value over time and have a use to you at the same time. As it stands now you want to sell this thing so you're probably not getting any use out of it and you can't very well spend "future" silvers you might make from this.

So trust me, let it go for 10 million. It's what Jesus would do.

Nah.

Theoretically, a future price drop could happen. Not that low. Virtually every sephwir composite bow I found on the forums went for 30 mill or over, but it seems at this immediate time, the value is slightly lower. So I dropped it. Its not a short bow though, so it will likely stay where it is. If I have to sit on it, I'll sit on it.

Surprised nobody wants this. Composite bows are, in my opinion, the best bows.

I'm surprised because looking back at the last year of sales, sephwir composite bows went fairly quickly for 28-31 million. Market value fluxuates, but its not like these are out of fashion or anything. One went went for 31 million, with the first bid in only 7 hours, back in October.

I may just have to be patient. I do not forsee dropping the price again.

I AM considering trades, in addition to trade/coin combos. I'm only looking for a few things though, mainly high end full leather. I'll also accept 1x claidhmores at 2.5 mill per.

And then on the other hand, this may sit here for a while. You do a lot of business in merchanting, so you might have enough to buy it at some point. I'm willing to sit on it.

They kinda just teased the relaunch of CCF. I think most people are in buckle down, coin grind and selling stuff mode.

True, but I also posted the item before that. And since CCF is the biggest "improve your gear" event out there, you'd think this would be in even more demand. Personally, I'm LOOKING for stuff to take to CCF thats worth upgrading, not trying to horde silvers. Unfortunately, I don't have the silver to purchase an item worthy of that attention.

Either way, I'm really not broken up over it. It will move when it moves, and I'm not in desperate need of it selling. I figured I would give it a 10% price drop as a gesture of being flexible, and now, we will see what happens. If it takes a year to go, so be it.

Seems like high end stuff is moving slowly these days. If I were ranged I would be all over this. Good luck with your sale.

Convocation of Coraesine Field, it was some merchant event I missed a few years back. There is a new one, Return to Coraesine Field or something, coming this year. The event specializes in rare services, like adding permabless, sancting, rare scripts, flares, weighting/padding, etc, etc. I asked about it on the officials, and someone described it as the "improve the gear you already have" event.

Heh, I owe you 100k, so all you need to scrounge up is a mere 26.9 million more!

Bump for the week.

Get this enchanted at CCF and you won't have to fletch, if my understanding is correct. Could be nice for anyone who wants to use their Artisan skills for other things like Forging or . . . god forbid, Cobbling.

Editing OP to remove prices and/or items is really really annoying. People should stop doing this.

Because three months isn't enough to move an item that no one has expressed interest in?

No because it destroys the archive of item information and pricing. If he had left the item information up, at the very least we would still have that. On the other hand, since his item didn't sale, it would give many of a us a good indication of the upper limit of pricing.

Imagine if every thread you searched where you were trying to gauge an item price instead said SOLD. It would destroy a very important function to the merchant section. And it would make me cry.

edit:

I should also clarify, I'm not offended that he stopped the sale. Just irritated that he removed the item description and pricing.

There is a thread for appraisals if you need to know the pricing of a specific sort of item. People are generally pretty good about giving honest appraisals.

Heh, I bet a number of those people get their appraisals by searching the forums for similar items.

I can repost the original information if you like. However, it wouldn't give much to go on as far as pricing; it ended up going as a trade for a 6x fusion longbow with a +4 Strength bonus and +4 Ranged bonus orb included, as well as a 5x a day Blink orb. That isn't really the sort of information that gives you a good estimate on similar items as far as selling another is concerned.

Its also worth pointing out that the item went up for sale in the early days of the CCF silver value hike, so a 30 mill item (identical sephwir composite bows tend to go for 25-31 from my records checking) was NOT moving at that rate. I even dropped it to 27 mill, and it didn't sell. The buyer later attempted to resell the item, and got far, far less than that, but this was even later in the silver value hike. Once silver values have resettled, I suspect the value could be 25-30 once again.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I suppose.
