So I visited the new label making wagon on FWI today, and was fortunate enough to be picked to have a box deepened! I bought one, got it deepened, and was very excited. I stepped outside to purchase a label, and lo and behold . . . the labels were 10,000 silver a piece! The merchant indicated that this was an oversight, and the resulting price ended up being 6,500 per label, but this was still too much for my tastes (knowing little about these, I was expecting 500-1000) and to be honest, I'd rather just keep a Word file with my information. I know these things are much more useful to some people than it would be for me (it was kind of just a whim purchase), so with that in mind, I'm just going to sell it.
a tiny polished platinum case
You analyze your platinum case and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.
The creator has also provided the following information:
This item is a box to store multiple labels.
A merchant can alter this item with a long description or a show, but it must remain some kind of small, unwearable container.
It currently contains 0 labels out of a maximum of 20.
Certain merchants may be able to deepen this item to hold more labels.
For those not in the know, these labels can be written on with a stylus, then applied to weapons and armor. The merchant announced today that they now work on most enhancives and magic items, so I suspect their usefulness is going to increase significantly. The containers work like alchemy jars; you can fill them up with labels and they don't take extra locker space aside from the initial case. They can be gradually deepened to a capacity of 100, 10 per merchanting service (the merchant today charged 10k for the service). The labels can be removed with solvent, which comes in bottles also at the store.
MB - 150k - 350k to Nocturnix, sold!
Can still pick up labels, as long as the shop is around.
