Points are tight but my goals are to start picking up some lore. 5 to 20 telepathy and then try to get 1x in summoning.

Comments, suggestions? Would it be worthwhile picking up 1x shield/brawl or is 1x shield sufficient for DS?

You are going to want some CMAN eventually. Also, why the telepathy lore? Summoning lore would do more for you.

I just want the extra cycles on 1110. You're right, though, I'll probably go 20 summoning for web bolt, then 20 telepathy, then back to 1x summoning.

That extra cycle of 1110 is overrated, as is bolting. 1106 can take you all the way to cap and beyond. You'll be able to use 1115 pretty well by about 50 or so.

Yea, I know, but it feels wrong to give up bolting when I'm GoS (fire spirit) and a halfling (mad deeps yo). Also, I'm having a hard time warding some things like-level where I can bolt above my level by a good margin.

Go the swinging route. Never have to turn down a bounty and you can do every bounty. Though being a halfling will suck because you can't use the CS part of 118 to it's full advantage.

I've never had a pure so swinging is out but CS is only wisdom based, right? I'm only losing 5 CS I think. I will say 1110 seems pretty shitty, though. 111 is great against trolls but, meh, against other stuff. Maybe I'll drop SA for a while and try out just warding. I'm not really using many bolts right now anyway.

All of your spells are spirit based, so wisdom bonus is your CS. I was talking about the easy 118 + ambush head, but since you are so short, you can't pull it off. It's also a really nice combo because it's only like 8 mana or something. You should do fine with 1106 with 1x MMC and ~2.25x spells

Alright, rearranged skills to pick up web bolt and fire spirit. I wasn't very impressed. Going to drop bolting for now and consider it for a later term goal. I guess I don't really need lores, then?

Bolting is damn near the only other way a pure empath has to kill various undead and other boneless or bloodless critters. Personally, I feel like I'm really gimped when I find myself in front of something that I can't effectively hunt or even hurt and I like not being pigeonholed into certain types of targets. I also think 1110 is pretty awesome. Got a room with 3-4 critters? Hit one or two with 1110 possibly taking them out of the fight for a bit and let the CS cycles add some extra damage to them (maybe finishing them off, even) while you're blasting the others with 1106.
