Well, I'm stuck at work tonight, so i'm reading the play by play from the interview on usa today. Sounds like so far it isnt hard hitting or him being straightforward enough.

Anyone else have any thoughts who's watching it?

I would love him to be hooked up to a lie detector during this interview. He admitted to doping before he got cancer, so that reinforces the belief I've had for years that he got cancer from steroids.

My thoughts are that I truly don't care how much drugs professional athletes use.

I think cheaters should be prosecuted in all aspects of society, whether they're the CEOs of Enron, Bernie Madoff, or Lance Armstrong. Armstrong made millions off his image, misappropriated government funds and was a drug trafficker. He influenced millions of children. It's way more than "oh he rode a bike, who cares?"

Tons of athletes take drugs but Armstrong ruined more than a few people and/or cost them large sums of money while working to preserve his image while living high. Lawsuits will be coming fast in the wake of the confession, no doubt.

While I don't really care what people do to their own bodies, what I do not care for is lying about who you are and what you stand for - especially in a "role model."

...I also want to make a joke about having a bike rider as a role model, but I'm coming up short, it's been a long day.
