Obama is pushing the path to citizenship. I think this is a great thing as long as we have the jobs. More people, more productivity, more tax revenue. They way things are now we don't know if people are paying taxes or where the money is going. Lets get them into the system and collect.

"I am skeptical that the only answer is putting more guns in schools, and I think the vast majority of the American people are skeptical that that somehow is going to solve our problem," Obama said. "And, look, here's the bottom line. We're not going to get this done unless the American people decide it's important."
And yet he plans to use executive orders to get some of the things he wants done, done thereby bypassing the American people he says should decide. Go figure.

They cited violent games (i.e. stuff like GTA). The game you're raising hell over is a non-violent target practice game based around gun education, as opposed to icing hookers in the middle of the street and then peeling out on their face.
Way to try and put an emotional twist on something based purely on the headline and not the actual content of the article.

Use and abuse are two different things. When you use it to circumvent congress because you know they will (or already have) shit all over whatever it is you're trying to ram down peoples' throats, that's abuse.

But basically, as long as your guy does it it's ok, but if the others do it it's bad huh? And I didn't like most of the exec orders Bush did either. So you can shove that response up your anus.

No President in history used as many Executive Orders as G.W. Bush used. He essentially increased the power of the President to a point where that one branch is more powerful than the others. Obama is on pace to merely match him... but the funny twist is that Obama was against Bush's use of EO, claiming he was a Constitutional Professor and EOs were counter to what was Constitutional. In 2008, one of his campaign promises was to not use EOs in the manner Bush used them. Oops?
But, the increased use of Executive Orders is placed squarely on Bush... so he actually deserves the blame in this case.

Note where I said I didn't like it when Bush did it either. All Presidents have used them. But Dems, and obviously Obama, cried and wailed. Now when their person does them, it's all good.
On a side note.. 1. That the job report numbers before the election were a "conspiracy"
2. That 80 Democrats were "Members of the Communist Party"
3. That early voting is "an entitlement"
4. That "Forward" was "Marxist-Socialist"
5. Obama wants to "enslave people"
6. That we should be censoring American news agencies
7. That female liberals "have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness — to let them know that we are not going to have our men become subservient."
8. "If Joseph Goebbels was around, he’d be very proud of the Democrat party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine.”

I completely agree.
1. That the job report numbers before the election were a "conspiracy" Conspiracy? The numbers were played with, that much we know. They were the last ones that came out before the election.. so I'm with him.
2. That 80 Democrats were "Members of the Communist Party" I bet this number is low if people really were honest. Your party was taken over years and years ago... you just don't want to admit it.
3. That early voting is "an entitlement" Do you have context on this?
4. That "Forward" was "Marxist-Socialist" Do you have a quote? I think it's hard to say Obama's campaign slogan is code for socialism, but the term "forward" has been used in many socialist and marxist campaigns in the past.
5. Obama wants to "enslave people" Did he say that specifically? Or did he say that welfare is a form of slavery and under Obama, welfare is way up?
6. That we should be censoring American news agencies Again, context. Specifically, let's see the quote and what he's talking about. A good example of this would be the gun map in NY... where I believe that the newspaper shouldn't be allowed to post the names, addresses and phone numbers of all gun owners. That is censoring, no?
7. That female liberals "have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness — to let them know that we are not going to have our men become subservient." Was he speaking specifically about Debbie Wasserman Schultz? Any context?
8. "If Joseph Goebbels was around, he’d be very proud of the Democrat party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine.” They don't? Come on... Obama up on stage with children as props to pass his toothless gun control? Propaganda at it's finest.
Totally rational, that West. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Bring more iceberg!

Having a problem with guys acting more feminine than women is sexism now? I think you need to brush up on the definition of the word.
Please articulate how my statement = sexism. Especially considering how I said nothing negative about women. Or are you one of those people that think we should live in a unisexual world where everyone acts exactly the same and genders don't exist?

Your statement wasn't sexist. His was. You defended it. Then you declared it was something else to try to defend it.
Female liberals "neutering American men" implies that somehow that liberal women have taken the power of American men due to acquiring rights. This is laughable.

So you think that liberal "women" and the whole feminist thing has nothing at all to do with guys today being such sissies, and each generation getting progressively worse?
Sexism is the belief that women (or men) are inferior solely due to their gender. How did you manage to translate "liberal women are trying to neuter men into subservience" into that?

Sexism is the belief that women (or men) are inferior solely due to their gender. How did you manage to translate "liberal women are trying to neuter men into subservience" into that?
First, how are men today "sissies"? What do you mean by that?
Second, how are you defining feminism? To me, feminism is simply seeking equal treatment of men and women. So it's not even an assertion that they are wholly equal, but it's the expectation that they'll be treated equally in the workplace and everywhere else. I can't see how seeking equal treatment would turn men into "sissies" (which is, in and of itself, probably an offensive term).
Third, sexism isn't the belief that a certain sex is inferior solely due to gender. Sexism is prejudice or discrimination based solely on sex ("Women can't fix cars because they don't understand how engines work." "Men aren't good caregivers for children because they lack empathy." "Women can't be lawyers/doctors/engineers because they don't understand logical reasoning." "Men can't be nurses because they can't relate to patients the way women can.").
So, when you say "liberal women" are trying to do anything, I think that it is sexist because you're blaming a thing (men being sissies) on a group of people (women) solely because they are women (and liberal, too). Though I totally disagree with the sentiment, you could instead say, "Men feel emasculated because women's equality in the workplace is forcing them to ..." (fill in your own blank).
