I've been online gaming before Gemstone existed, played many different games. The strange thing is, every single one of them has had some kid like Candor playing. Sadly every game also has a few idiots who are foolish enough for fall for the trolling.

It's usually a repressed thirteen to twenty year old who has finally slipped the notice of his mother and finally has some chance to draw attention to themselves. Good, or bad, they don't really care as long as someone is paying any attention to them at all. Too lazy to build a viable character, too inept to make friends, they just strut and posture, griefing the low level characters, and jumping on the public chat channel begging for attention from a captive audience.

It's an old tired routine. Since 1989, I've seen dozens of Candors. Most eventually grow up and realize there's more to life than none too clever attention whoring. It's really best not to mock them because you don't want to be accused of cyber bullying when one offs himself.
