Milintica goffering iron & ruff from Ebons 2010

Anyone know how to heat the irons to make the ruff's stiff? I had won a a fully unlocked ruff and a very durable goffering iron but forgot how to use it. I thought I had to cast a spell on it or something.
Would appreciate some help.
