Late 20s to Mid 30s hunting...

If you have not read or discovered the wonder that is the IMT trench as a wizard, here are some glimpses to make you drool a bit. Combine 906/908 and a fire flaring runestaff for maximum affect, works best on trolls but guardians melt easy too. It feels good to finally feel the real meaning of melting face as a wizard.

This is just a collection of some nice shots from my last hunt, flares are fairly regular and have devastating effects:

You think that's amusing? Get a couple characters that can cast fireballs and go hit up some troll warcamps. I've actually chuckled doing that and watching the numbers scrolling.

Where to next?

My team (wiz/bard) are now 32/35 respectively. Ice Trolls / Cold Guardians are now taking a long time to fry on. It's time to move on (sadface). I've trained my wizard into fire lore, so would prefer to keep with some fire-sensitive creatures. Again looking for easy fast hunts, dont care about loot. Mostly convenience, easy access, close to node/town etc. We are pretty self-sufficient, just need a place to rest and deposit coins really.

Arctic titans and frost giants on the glatoph?

Yah thats what i was thinking. Anything to watch out for? Is movement difficult with ice patches? Does the environment blow you over and such? Is there a way to avoid this?

There is a section of the glatoph before the chasm where there are no I've patches. No wind that knocks you down either. Just watch out for the titans casting weapon fire on occasion.

OK i read about that, thanks. I guess I will keep the titans asleep or kill them first. I can also buff my TD with my other chars if need be.

Resting place? Should I run back to the landing? Set a ring? I am hunting on the landing side of the chasm.

The landing is probably the closest node. I'm not sure if the abandoned inn had one. You can set a ring or just use go2.

Those clips are of ice trolls, the skeletal ice trolls inside the trench are even weaker to wizard fire.
