New bully?

So I haven't been in Landing lately so I don't know if this has been an issue in the past but....

Whenever I go to the cul Thoranios appears and begins to bully people half his train. There's like a guy, Sorvey, and Thoranios is yelling at Sorvey to duel him. Then Aygor called Thoranios a name and Thoranios basically wants him to leave the cul so he can kill him. Aygor is 11 trains. Is this guy always like this?

Uh. Cheslica is just a great Lady and she's won against him in a duel. He's pretty retarded and he hardly has redux which is amazingly hard for a warrior to do.

Thoranios has killed my guy 4 times now, and attacked him two other times. Once for giving him "bad directions" when he didn't know where the reach was, two more times from throwing tarts at people (but not him), then killed someone who came to drag me. I can't even remember all of the times now, but this guy is an absolute retarded and is hopefully well on his way to being banned.

Yes, Thoranios is a prick. He waited outside the Sorc guild for Joxter to come out. Killed em in like 2 hits. All the while he had (another one of his characters) locating every two minutes to make sure Jox was in the guild.

I say ignore him and if he messing with your characters warn em.

Of course.. he was autorolled.. so at the time the computer put the biggest stat for a warrior into strength.

He made it to level 12.. which is amazing in itself. Took him FOREVER to hunt though.

Heh, I'll share my retard newb story.

I was around 12 years old, new to the game and just finished killing some rats. I checked my exp, used the verb jump messing around, checked my exp again and lo and behold I have gained 30 or so exp! The notion of storing exp and slowly absorbing it isn't even a twinkle in my eye so what do me and my friend do? We got onto the coastal cliffs and jump for about thirty minutes, thinking 'IT'S WORKING, IT'S WORKING!' I think we did this on about five seperate occasions until I read some guides and realized what a retard I was.

Oh, and the sword I used to store that exp from rats was also of the alexandrite variety. Broadsword though, I got lucky enough to choose the right weapon combo.

But when I first came into the game the I was looking through the list of commands... kill, attack, etc.... and then something yellow popped up on the screen. I was told that things in yellow were things we should kill, so I attacked it.

It was a bird in the landing. I was arrested and put in jail. I'm glad they fixed that.

Luckily the guy who got me into the game was around at the time and lent me the money to get my stuff back (I of course spent it all already). He then bitched at me for giving up on rolling some decent numbers after 5 minutes of rolling. I did the quick-gen.

I remember my first days when I was walking around. I thought I was a complete badass because I was a warrior with a drake scimitar. I dont know how but i had a roll of about 680 but I didnt know what that meant at the time. Only later when I had to reroll did I realize how hard it was to get a good roll. Im also guilty of attacking an NPCritter. It was yellow so I went for it. I was arrested on charges of hooliganism...:(

Put coins down in kobolds.. tapped them.. and knew that a minute later a kobold would arrive to get those coins.

Put down cheese from the store to attract giant rats.

I didn't run message for the reason to save up money to buy cheese.

He used to have some nice redux. He was wearing plate, but I hit him with a 290 endroll with a lance. It did like, 22 damage. I don't know a whole lot about mechanics, but I'm pretty sure some redux factors into that.

If I remember correctly Thor is only 14 years old IRL. He was enaged to my ex-daughter Zafyra. I've heard he bought Thoranios anyway. Give a baby something big and he'll try to abuse his power. Thoranios was a very old PC. I remember chasing him on the fame list with my dwarf warrior back in about 1998 or 1999 and he was one of the most famous dwarves and was around level 50. So if his current player is 14, he is obviously not the original Thoranios.

Heh, one of my early warriors had about a 27 in Aura at level 15. I think my TD was around 20 when I was hunting wraiths. Apparently putting a 100 in strength at level 0 isn't as useful at it may seem. :weird:

My first original character was a Giantman Warrior. Yes, most fucking original thing ever.

I never played Magic: The Gathering, but apparantly there was a card named "Felldon's Somethingorother" and my character was named "Felldon". Yeah, well I had everyone and their mother come up to me "DO U PLY MAGIC!!?!?1/1/1/"

I'd respond with a "wtf, no!". Anyway, I was a hotshot with my obsidian armor and my gold wooden armor. I remember dying in hobgoblins (right when I hit level 2) and decaying. I new nothing of deeds, lost Felldon, and was pissed.

Magic the Gathering is a collectible card game. It is the great, great grandfather of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. While it has never attained the sheer spontanious collectivity of those two, it has proven staying power in the CCG market.
