Feature-changing mask that goes in your features. Changes your eyes. Called a whisper mask because the mask whispers various evil/mad things to you. For example, if you're in a room with someone else, it might suggest you kill that person or that the person is plotting against you. Some of the ambient zests are as follows

Examples of ambient zests:

Your heart begins to beat rapidly, and your vision blurs.

Hungry voices nearby moan, "Find us someone to eat."

A chorus of tortured voices screams, "End this, we beg of you!"

A calm, matter-of-fact voice whispers, "They are plotting, even now."

A chorus of tortured voices screams, "Rage... unending!"

You get the sudden sensation that there is something on your back.

A choked voice groans, "Please, don't leave me!"

Light as a feather, a whisper falls on the back of your mind, pleading, "Free me, I beg of you."

A strained voice whispers, "There is no end to this torment. Only the blood can make us whole."

A cool, feminine voice hisses, "The fascination will become the horror."

A woman's voice sobs, "Free me, I beg of you."

A gentle voice whispers, "Your will is no longer your own."


Mask also doesn't want to be removed:

You raise the pearwood mask to your face, and it latches on to your skin hungrily. After a moment of blinding agony, the mask settles onto your flesh like a second skin.

You pry at the edges of a bronze-inlaid pearwood mask. Pain shoots through your face and down your spine, as surely as if you had dug your nails deep into your flesh. Searing agony spreads across your face as the clinging mask slowly relaxes its grip upon you, coming off with a horrible, wet sucking sound.

No gems - He has empty black chasms for eyes
2 of the same gem - He has scintillating medium pink pearls for eyes
2 different gems - He has scintillating gemstones for eyes

All of it is ambient. There are a couple of them that actually at for a third party like when it tells you you're thinking about eating someone in the room or cutting them to watch them bleed. They say you're eyeing them or some shit.

Whilst cobbling with another person present today:

A softly sibilant voice rasps, "Mischung is plotting to kill you. I heard him. Strike first."

Desperate voices in the back of your mind cry, "Their deaths will be fuel for life everlasting."

A calm, matter-of-fact voice whispers, "Even death may die."

You notice Mischung looking at you with a sinister gleam in his eye. You find yourself thinking about how you have always hated him, deep down inside. The sensation passes as quickly as it came.

A desperate, high-pitched voice screams, "Kill all the things!"

Something moves beneath the skin of your arm.


No third person messaging seen.. this was over a span of about an hour and a half to two hours. Now I have to go do something actually productive.

I am 99% sure that there is no third-person messaging on these things. My rogue had one on for over a month real time and I never saw any while multi-accounting. They are highly, highly awesome.

I didn't have any luck getting the right messages the first night after posting. There's a ton of them and waiting for the right one might be a while.

Tried making some highlights to catch them, but haven't had much time in game this week. Bought my mask from a friend, so I've never thought to check if it was unlocked or not. Didn't know that was an option on these.

I may just start compiling a list of all the messages for reference now that I'm posting about it and curious...
