My character's name is Kheldarin..and there's this other guy named Khelddar. He seems to be popular because I get a thought by someone everytime I turn my amulet on. Or if I'm in the vicinity of him, I get a hug, a glance, some sort of random action by one of his friends. I'm just bitching cause there's nothing I can do.

My Snow-Owl saved my life more times that I care to remember since people type cast snow and the owl is the first thing that gets cast at....gives me enough time to hide or get the next hit. I am glad we have similar names

The only bad thing is, when eejits mistake him for a familiar and cast elemental detection on him to find out which mage he belongs to, I often mistake that for them being aggressive towards him/me...which is not good.

hehe, yeah I noticed that in IMT Kheldarin! Not much you can do, Khelddar has been around for ages and a lot of people totally <3 him, including me! ;) Think I might have hugged you by accident myself too, sorry!

Just gotta go with the flow, it's not your fault. I'd laugh at you if you had a stupid name like DarkwizardtwelveII or something, but at least you put thought into the name.

Just bank off of it, become a con artist -- lol, see what you can get out of it.

try being named ARCHevald. Especially when GS4 just went live. It would not default to the arch in the room but to my character. Was fun standing in the bank and have everybody go towards my character. Thank god they changed that.
