Crit padded armor

I was just wondering if crit padded armor helps to reduce all types of crits, including those caused as a result of combat manuevers, and spells, including TD attacks by creatures? thanks

It helps with most. I'm sure there are exceptions. That is, I know it helps with combat maneuvers. Damage padding helps with some spell damage, but I'm not sure about crit padding.
