Ok, so I guess I don't really keep up too well on new games. I just discovered that they're making a South Park video game and the trailer is pretty fucking hilarious. At first, I thought it had to be a joke. With the various game system logos all over the sites and the fact that they have a website set up with forums for the game, I'm not thinking so anymore.

If you watch South Park, you'll know they've had numerous episodes relating to anime and fantasy genres and this apparently is supposed to start off with the kids all doing a LARP led by Cartman. From what I gather, I guess something happens and it starts to become real. One of the classes may turn out to be "Jew"; in one episode, Kyle wants to be a paladin, but Cartman refuses to let him while telling him he's a Jew. I have no idea if this will be worth two shits or not to actually play, but as a South Park fan, it strikes me as being pretty funny at least.

I remember the South Park game for N64. It was basically GoldenEye reskinned with funny South Park stuff... Like your basic weapon was a snowball, which you could turn into a yellow snowball for more damage.

I remember there was one item in multiplayer, back when multiplayer was on a dusty screen that communicated through tin cans tied together with a string, right, I remember a phonograph? That played something like "When I get that feeling, I want to sing" and it was only available in multiplayer. I remember I didn't know how to beat the final boss because you had to move around ambient crap and I didn't get it (like in Perfect Dark, except I got that).

I've read about the game, it seemed like they were really attempting to make a good, funny RPG. I'm really hoping it turns out to be like a modern EarthBound, some goofy fun and stupid humor on top of a really solid RPG.

Haha, yes. It looked like a record player and stuff. It was a fun weapon, but it was useless because it didn't kill them. You'd have to switch to snowballs.
